I always find it nice and innovative to hear old goth rock with a saxophone, which is almost never the case with new bands...
Excellent album, with the class song Questioning The Shadow !!
I agree 100%, it adds so perfectly to the sound, Bands like TOH, 1919, & Elysium used it so tastefully.

Y Psychedelic Furs..
En España Polanski y el Ardor..
Qué buenos Teathre of Hate! Aun siguen dando conciertos.
Éstos se dan un aire..un airazo! se parecen bastante en los dos primeros temas.
La tercera es como un cruce entre PIL y Bauhaus..
Now that is one hell of an album cover
As always, you find the best in post punk music. Thank you for sharing with us and cheers from Canada.
This really is very good.
Excellent! I bought this 12" together with "Carnival of Damocles" by In Excelsis for a mere 50 p each in a bargain section about thirty years ago. Both records are of their time (early '80s) but hold up very well today in terms of creativity. This is especially true of this 12", which doesn't really sound like anyone else. Inventive instrumention, a great guitar sound, probing lyrics... "Questioning the Shadow" even has an almost cabaret feel, which groups like Seventh Seance or Christian Death (with Valor on board) later developed further.
Still have this on 12" saw them supporting UK Decay/ Sex Gang Children etc brilliant band & Jamie Stewart(death cult/the cult bass) was guitarist in Ritual.
❤️
The first track sounds like Where is my Mind (Pixies)
The other way round, surely, as Ritual got there first!
Yeah it does
ΕΠΟΣ!!!
