Is there some progress for Kai Tak Monorail?
Anyway, I think about what if MTR build Whampoa - North Point Tunnel? So they can make Kwung Tong Line a circle line. I also think about what if they convert Peak Tram into metro standard train (example: Lyon Metro Line C) and merge it with East Rail/Tsuen Wan Line, or one of them merge with South Island Line. Are those three ideas possible?
And I think it's better for Tseung Kwan O Line to extend to the south, maybe until Ocean Park Station.

The East Rail Line once had a short Wo Hop Shek branch from Fanling to Wo Hop Shek, which is mainly used for transporting corpses to the cemetery located there
Which is closed shortly before full electrification of the line in 1983

If you want an explanation: people romanticize Hong Kong's period as a british possession but the thing is their disregard for it as merely a colony. It had no sort executive or legislative elections at all, just an appointed governor as if it was a department of a company.
The difference of investment after China regained it is visible. It still has serious problems such as its precarious housing situation but in british days it literally had slums.
If this isn't visible enough in the video already, Hong Kong becomes China in 1997

    Some detail information:
In detail, there are several rail track changes at KCR East Rail Line, such as Hung Hum to Lo Wu change to double track during electrification(1975-1983),
new high speed track (allow train run in 80-120kmh) to replace the old, sharp turn track along Tolu Harbour (from new Tai Po Market to Ma Liu Shui/University)

Much cheaper than the Airport Express, and cheaper and quicker than a direct bus from Kowloon. All in all, MTR is great. Efficient, clean and cheap. So glad KCR merged with MTR.

I'd like to correct something here
Actually Mong Kok (Underground one), Yau Ma Tei and Central were called Argyle, Waterloo and Chater. They renamed as current names after Island Line was opened. At the same time, Lai Wan renamed as Mei Foo (This name is from the Chinese translation of Exxon Mobil😂)
Before Tsuen Wan Line was opened, Kwun Tong Line was called Modified Initial System. Red colour was used to represent it. "Kwun Tong Line" didn't exist before the separation. Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei were opened later than Jordan and Tsim Sha Tsui.
Initially Mong Kok East was called Yaumatei before 1969, and Mong Kok before 2007.
Light Rail Tin Wing Station was called Tin Shui Wai before West Rail was opened. It was a terminal station with 7 platforms. Now it has 2 platforms only because other platforms were demolished for building houses.

Great visualisation! Just wanted to know the reason behind not capitalising 'line' for the MTR lines (eg Kwun Tong line instead of Kwun Tong Line), because you did capitalise it in your other videos. If you are referring to Wikipedia, that site is wrong by the way.
Capitalising suggests 'line' is part of the proper name for MTR lines and should be listed in the key as Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line, Island Line, Tung Chung Line etc instead of Tsuen Wan, Kwun Tong, Island, Tung Chung etc. Even if this is not and line is only a common noun, this is good practice as these names on its own will more likely refer to the station rather than the line.
