While I appreciate the smallness of it and the extra power, I couldn’t be bothered with the workflow on it. The OG tracker is perfect for me and can sketch out ideas “from mind to hardware” pretty quickly now.
@@Stazmaplease tell them whenever they upgrade the OG form factor battery is must. The form factor of the OG was perfect. As cool as tracker mini looks and upgrades, I’m just going to wait for what they do with the OG as far as upgrades. The OG is the SP1200 of the hardware trackers.
the problem with the tracker: once you got around using it, all comes out like this example here. Due to the spreadsheet like matrix, I think, which encloses you in cells. Then you find the great effects, like the roll. You randomize to unbore it. Etc etc won't list now all, strangely all sooner or later come to the same results. Proof is all over the internet, mainly youtube.
Well on RUclips you’re not going to write a full song. If I was composing something I wouldn’t use that much random, I would keep copying and pasting the pattern and write each variations myself. This kind of random based things are great for jaming or just to find out ideas you would had come up with.
How much smaller is the screen? I wear glasses and fear that it might be much more difficult for me to use than the full sized tracker. Also how is the perform mode used without the button grid?

I do prefer the OG as well but I like being able to this one on the road as a bonus.

Being honest I haven’t tried the perform mode yet, it’s clearly less fun here than in the OG from what I’ve seen.

No i prefer the big one, the Mini is great for it’s portability but I would keep only a big one if had to.
