Hey, the A3s hands, diamonds, i think mb that's just a fold, sometimes 4b, i tried lots of rake structures, and its never in there, but when i did research, and used the lower 3b size, it was pure 4b, never a call, mb it doesnt matter, or mb villain dependant, or some other shit i dont know a bout
I think you nailed it in the bit where you said it doesn’t really matter either way. I also don’t use wizard ranges but that’s kinda irrespective I think. agree 4b is a fine option too!

great video Ben! In the 44 hand where you call the x/r- with what you said about villain why is 44 a mandatory defend? Seems like there are many factors that line up with a fold in that spot.
hey mate! even though they’re perceived tight, it’s very very unlikely that a +ev theory defend becomes -ev. I need extremely reliable reads to ever fold +ev defends! just remember this is btn v bb 755r and 33% xr size.

Why is the flop call with 44 mandatory, against a nit? Would love to hear your thought process
because even though they’re nitty, they’ll be raising worse underpairs otf as well and plenty of open enders

oh thanks for the heads up mate - we’ll get that fixed. I feel indifferent to grinding with no leaderboards. I feel (still unproven given my results lol) that the games are beatable pre rakeback/leaderboards but time will still tell!

I couldn’t find the exact name of the boulder on ‘the crag’ unfortunately. I was climbing at the ‘langdale roadside boulder’ though. I think something like v4/5!

what is the frequncy for bbj . i played oner 1 mil hands past 6 monts and did not hit single one. playing 200+K every months . no lucky enough yet.

Bena, I'm beating NL50 at 4.5BBs/100 over a 150k hand sample. Is this good? You know sometimes I'm not sure if I should leave my job and focus 100% on poker, ppl say online poker is dead due to the bots and all the cheating. What do you think about this?
hey mate! yes that’s a great winrate but also a very small sample so not totally reliable. as far as the game being dead, I don’t buy into that, but it is definitely harder to succeed now than past years. as for leaving your job, it really depends on so many things; future earning potential, life satisfaction, routine etc. I can’t ever know if the sacrifice would be worth it for you I’m afraid 🙏

I hear what you’re saying but I think your logic is a bit flawed. there are other important factors that go into the decision making. our pot odds are insane and vs a range that is not only boats (88/99/22/33/86s/98s as a few examples) we already will have a pure continue in theory. just because someone is a nit, we cannot justify folding vs any form of moderate aggression in the fear they have the nuts!
I wasn’t calling to bluff later run outs - I have the equity to call (reality equity as well as theoretical equity) so folding would just be -ev in my mind. I’m not a fan of folding +ev spots haha.

44 hand - if the guy is described as pretty nitty, why not just fold vs the x/r? Cant imagine folding flop vs someone whos drastixally under x raising can be bad. Prob correct exploit
yeah could be but we have an insane price (it’s 33% flop size raise not 50+) so certainly conceivable that they can have 22/33 otf. I’d also rather call this hand as it has nut outs rather than a hand like Ax bdfd. still quite close though I’d have to admit!

JJ you can fold pre vs 5bet and then fold turn vs bet. he is not betting AA there so its only QQ ever. then A3 just fold turn you lose to nfds and have a bad gutshot. what you thinking? then 44 just fold vs CR worst blockers and only bad turns except 4.
