When i think of Rav4, i think of an Adventure unit, not usually luxury, for young and vibrant people. But I think the next gen need to take a new direction since the venza is killed off, and be a bit more premium . I still think you need to offer adventurous Rav4s at lower trim, and still offer Adventure models that bring young people in for off-roading, but you need to bring a limited trims and maybe a platinum trims that is more luxury that competes with competition. I think their are customer who want a more luxury trim Rav4 that brings adventures at lower trims, but also brings luxury at higher trim for the customer who wants it. Or do radical change for Rav4, and make it luxury this time with more plush and less sounding. I kind of want both, without affecting the RAv4 heritage and history. I am long time Rav4 owner, but i have read alot of comments that RAv4 makes too much noise, I like road noise, but some people want plush, can they have both? without affecting Rav4 history. Or bring the landcruiser FJ, and make the Rav4 completely luxury this time. Very hard call
meh, it's ok and very popular, but most reviewers seem to give the outlander a win in each user segment,but give the win to the RAV4. comparatively, the Toyota comparison is pretty much fluff.

@Drg24800 the Outlander PHEV doesn't have the sui cide seats in the back due to the raised boot floor. I just chuck the kids in the roof box.
not this generation, it's bigger than before but still barely comparable to the crv, let alone the outlander.
