    I discovered this last night when I was playing around with X. Already have used it to identify some covers for my next grouse hunt. A great addition.

    This is neat. One suggestion for a tree/map layer. When I first got OnX it was a Fall/leaf off map like google maps. It has since changed to a green/leaf on map. It was much easier with the leaf off map to identify trees, hard edges and particularly soft edges you can only see leaf off. An option to toggle between a leaf off map or just default leaf off map imagery would be awesome. Thanks!

      Thanks for the feedback, we are looking at additional imagery options.

    Thanks OnX. This has been a great feature to use. I don’t know how you did it. This video helps to understand it even better though. I’m looking forward to getting boots on the ground to see if it gets me closer to good sign.

    I like it, used it deer hunting this year and it is fairly accurate. Keep up the great job on the app this thing is a game changer for me and just love it. Been using it for the last 4 years I think.

    Aspen for grouse 10 to 20 year cuts...0 years won't do much good

    That’s neat and all, but maybe focus more on your core vs adding bells and whistles. I know updates vary by area, but the landownership in my area hasn’t been updated in 4 years…at least!

      We work with the counties as well as state/federal agencies on obtaining our information so we reflect what is in their digitized system. Each state receives at minimum one update per year but again it comes down to what those sources show which some are slower to update on their end than others. We're more than happy to look into your area specifically, you can tap a property in the app and select 'Give Feedback' or shoot us an email and we'll take a look.

    Do you guys ever think about making software for fly fishing or is that to small of a market?

      Appreciate the feedback, we are looking into it. Are there any features you feel would be beneficial that we should add?

      @@onXHunt yes I do have really good ideas based off a book I bought that are very important. My first name is Ryan I will email onxmaps. Who should I direct email towards is there a first name? I don't have enough space to give all the details on youtube.

    does it display burn areas?

    • @onXHunt
      @onXHunt  2 года назад

      The Tree Species and Habitat Maps Layers will not show burn areas but we do have Historic Wildfires in the app under the Hunt section of the Map Layers information that will show that.
