Thank you, Sir! I have watched bits of your video as I wanted to get a glimpse on filters. I just started searching further information as I've found out that PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) are released when the Carbon in nicotine (C10H14N2) is heated, along with other compounds used in flavors. Nonetheless, small amounts of metals such as nickel, lead, and chromium are also released into the aerosol due to the use of coils. I collected bits of information with regards to smoking/vaping (with a focus on nicotine) and collated them in a 6 pages long article. Filters on e-cigarettes, IMO, are a great improvement on the action of inhaling. Wish you all the best and good luck in your journeys to reduce inhaling to only a guilty pleasure, a choice. Many of us are prisoners of fidgeting, stress, social depravation (looking for inclusion), habit (as part of identity and/or fashion) and, last but not least, emotional issues/trauma.
Thank God I found this channel. One of the very few that I feel tries to help and not make a sale. I do have a question. Wife and I are 3 pack a day smokers. So these intrigue us and the decision is between the EQ Fltr and Joytech. It would be Joytech hands down but you can't grt any replacement filters here in the states. I can get replacement filters for the EQ fltr. Do you know by chance if the eq filters will fit the joytech ego air? Edit: It would have been the aced but I can't even get my hands on it, sadly.
Hi....I love Innokin stuff overall. They have really great stuff but not the EQ. The Joyetech is the better one. My question to you...Do you really really need the paper filters? After a few days, I very much doubt you'll need them and will stick to the plastic tip that comes with it. Another one to really consider is the Aspire Vilter. This one is the closest one to a cigarette. Again yes it uses paper filters but believe me you will do without them in a matter of days. So no.1 if you can the Vilter (I know it has a smaller battery) but has the pull of a cigarette. No.2 Joyetech. Incidentally you'll be able to get a Power bank for the filter the next few weeks which will give you a whole day's vape without any battery anxiety. I'll be uploading the review for it probably tomorrow. Feel free to message me if you need to know anything else.
Been smoking for 9 years. I quit at 29. After a couple of months, I was able to run again. Baby steps, tough, as I re-learn to breathe properly and regain that VO2 max. Good luck! Smoking has been shown to reduce lung function and cardiovascular fitness, leading to a decrease in VO2 max. However, when a person quits smoking, their lung function and cardiovascular fitness can improve, leading to an increase in VO2 max. The degree of improvement depends on a variety of factors, such as the length of time the person has smoked, the extent of lung damage, and the individual's response to exercise training. With consistent exercise and a healthy lifestyle, a person can regain much of their lost cardiovascular fitness and improve their VO2 max.
Thank you for the info. Personally vaping has saved my life. It is certainly much much better than smoking in so many ways. I don't suffer the short breaths anymore, no more chest pains so vaping has certainly improved my life by a very long way. Yes we don't know the adverse effects of vaping fully if any. Personally I have been vaping for 14yrs or so now and I have seen only positive signs after switching to vaping so it is certainly much better than smoking.
Great video. Been looking at a couple of these and have added the Joytech to my list to check out. One not listed here is the one I started with: the Geekvape M1. It has optional paper filters, though I have not purchased any yet. However, the driptip it comes with has a silicone coating around the outside. As a person recently quitting cigarettes, this has worked pretty well. The silicone also allows you to hold the vape in your teeth hands free.
The Geekvape M1 is a brilliant piece of kit. The reason I didn’t include it is that at the time of the video there was no filters for it. I did order and received one of their later editions with those new colours. This one too never has any filters with it and I couldn’t even detach the drip tip. Having said that I love it and still use it.
Me, my sister and a friend of mine, all ex heavy smokers, have tried the Innokin, the Aspire and the Quawins. We all agreed that the Aspire Vilter has the best pull and surely the best taste. The downside is the battery and the solution (for now) is to have 3 pods with you. They are not big and fit easily in your pocket. I hope that Aspire will make a 2nd version with 1000mAh battery. It will be bigger of course but i will prefer it.
I have quawins, it is beautiful, I really like the tighter pull and the taste is not bad at all !! It takes away and kind of spit backs or juicy taste in my mouth , thanks to the filter comes with it
Hello there.. I’m a pack a day smoker looking to transition into vaping. This might be a stupid question but did you start feeling better when you switched over?
@@vapourettes thank you for the reply! I’m definitely ready to let go of cigarettes, I’ve been smoking for 20 years and although I haven’t felt any major affects I’d rather count my blessings and get rid of this bad habit that will eventually catch up to me. Thank you for everything that you do for smokers and providing great information.
@@deeveeuhs I've been vaping for almost 14yrs now. Never looked back. The crucial point is to choose a good one for the transition. My advice to you is the Aspire Vilter or filter pro if it is available. Either of them will be fine. It is the closest you will get to a real cigarette which is very important for the transition. Equally use freebase liquid instead of Nic salt. Let me now what cigarettes you smoke and I'll tell you what nicotine strength to go for. Feel free if you have any other questions please.
@@vapourettes The Aspire Vilter definitely caught my attention! I’ll look to see if it’s available here in the US. I smoke American Spirits yellow pack.
@@deeveeuhs I think that will be the most suitable one for you specially that it comes with a couple of filters like a cigarette and a plastic drip tip. Let me know what you find when you can and I'll let you know if it is suitable for you
50/50 is the make up of the base liquid 50%VG and 50%PG. it’s not a mix between nic salts and freebase. It can only be freebase or nic salt. The flavour is added after that and is nothing to do with the 50/50. Mist flavours are PG based. Hope that answers your question.
I love watching you you are such a great person. I hope you can help me I’m trying to stop smoking and I can’t it’s so so hard and I want to know the very next thing that would be closest to smoking I have the caliburn and the vaporreso. I absolutely hate getting any liquid in my mouth I always seem to taste the liquid and it feels like I am ingesting it it makes me feel awful And sick. And I want some thing where I don’t get that at all can you please help me suggest something? I want the filter tip I want some thing to feel just like a cigarette please help me thank you so much
Hi Annette...Thank you so much for your compliment. Really appreciate it. The best and closest one to a cigarette at the moment is the Aspire Vilter. This one has a filter tip to wean you off the cigs. The draw on it is as close as you can get to a cigarette. Yes the battery is small on it but a power bank for it will be out soon so you can vape all day with it. Have a look at the review about it here ruclips.net/video/3SOAtjLhVNA/видео.html I don't know which Caliburn you have but all but the latest one which is the G2 and GK2 are the ones that have airflow control so you can have as tight a draw as you want. Equally I don't know which vaporesso you have. The latest pods for the vaporesso (xros series) are excellent as well but I would say the Aspire Vilter will be the one to start with. As for liquid coming out. Most of them do that from time to time. There's a simple solution which is to flick it a couple of times with a piece of tissue on top of the mouthpiece which will get rid of the excess liquid. You were not vaping I take it 10yrs+ ago when they were terrible but I struggled with them then and never looked back. Today they're far better than what they used to be. Please let me know how you get on and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me again.
🤦♂️🤦♂️ my bad. Its the charging current that is 800. The battery as you said is 400. Apologies. We all make mistakes from time to time. Thanks for pointing that one out for others to see as well
