@dwightschrute1953 in Samuel chapter 16 vs 7 the lord does not look at the things man looks at for man looks at outer appearance but the lord looks at the heart. So another word the lord does not care what you look like he just looks in your heart .
Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable onto God. If you are holy on the inside (Holy Ghost filled), it will manifest itself on your outward appearance.
What does hair have to do with the image of God? God is looking at our heart, not my head. This is legalistic teaching. I grew up Pentecostal holiness and this is things they teach. Women Don’t cut your hair, men don’t grow your hair out, no jewelry, no makeup. That’s fixing the outside to look religious and not focused on the inside. A man having long hair will NOT send him to hell. I hate this legalism doctrine. I really like Josh but I think this does me in for his teachings.
Your carnal nature is speaking. Make up, jewelry, fashion feeds your pride and brings attention to your body in a sensual nature. You are bitter…if you grew up apostolic, you know the scriptures…but you chose to follow the world…love not the world…so many have done the same because people have let them down. The bible will still judge you in the end.😕. There are no excuses acceptable to God..He died for you..
