I actually think the stock rims would
look nice with the blue but that’s up to you. Also for interior mods may i highly recommend a matching dead pedal and hfp red mats. I have both in mine and they’re simple but make a nice difference.

Cameron Hill Nice! I wish I had someone professional do it for me, but I did it myself. Wasn’t much instructions on the billet prl intercooler so I did it without the instructions . Was able to install it within 4-5 hours. I’m not a mechanic myself so it took some time haha. It’s pretty straight forward but I did have to do some cutting to fit the intercooler in. Again, not a mechanic 🤷♂️. Lol. Also if you haven’t bought it yet, you can request them to add the PRL logo without any cost I believe... not too sure though. I forgot to and don’t have the logo on there. Will have to do it myself sadly.
How do you go about adding the logo?

I'm surprised that you only have 91 octane there. We have 93 octane on Maui. Good race. That civic is definitely underrated, considering the difference in hp/tq numbers. If you got a different car and got rid of the Si, you would acquire a different set of viewers while the honda fans would probably move on. Love the race and mod videos, keep it up.

You can put 1 gallon of E85 with the rest of your tank 91 using tsp stage 1. This would put you at E15 assuming the 91 gasoline has 10% ethanol which is usually around 0-10% and assuming E85 actually has 85% ethanol which is usually around 60-85%. So you have some safety margins there, also the manual states do not use fuel that has ethanol content more than 15% (E15), of course that all changes once you have a flex kit and a tune that utilizes the flex kit
I always fill with the nitro + it has the most additives in the fuel the helps prevent carbon build up like on the valves and rods but it’s getting cheaper cause of the corona virus

Really think I’m gonna pull the trigger on this thing later in the year. Now that you have a few mods, what would you recommend first? Tuner, intake, or something else?
hm, honestly, I would recommend the same order in which I modded mine. CAI first, enjoy the sound of the engine and turbo sounds, then exhaust and enjoy both of them together all while smashing it on the stock tune, then Ktuner with TSP S1
Nice win against a worthy opponent. I’d go stage 2 clutch and intercooler for next mods. Then save to upgrade rods and turbo.
Seeing the civic on the dyno would be pretty cool.
True that 😎, intake, catless downpipe, a minimum of a hotpipe and a tune. Gives ton of power on any turbo cars 😎

@@Camhill182 I kinda wish I lived in california, I would def want to race your 10gen si with my 9th gen si to see how well they stack up, I've raced a few not much but I beat them, some had bolt ons, but not sure what exactly tune they running, but your car sound nice bro, haven't been much of a fan of the 10gen since there is no more vtec, but it I'm a car lover so I will give a car full props when they are done right and taken care of, as you knw my 9th gen made 232hp 183tq on 93oct so it's no joke lol,but your car doing well keep it up bro!

Good vid cam, my old man tells me that ethanol creates moisture in your gas tank. He tells me to use stp once month when I fill up
Really loving the civic man, wouldn’t be the same without it. Build the civic till you can’t anymore than move onto something else. That’s what I’d do.

At least get a hi flow catted downpipe before you dyno tune if you’re concerned about emissions. As others have said don’t give up on the car yet, it takes time unless you’re balling
What’s your opinion on updating your downpipe and frontpipe? I think you were gonna mention it in the vid when you were showing your engine bay but it cut off

yeah but it's the 2.0 not the 3.8, the 2.0 stock is like 210 maybe, focus st slaps the genny as well

It does bother me. I got the mount that ktuner recommened. You can type in ktuner v2 mount on google and it brings you right to ktuner’s site. I want to find another spot to put it
You can fully turn off VSA through ktuner so you don't have to do the cheat code thing anymore.
You ever thought of going e85. They have a station in your area. You could get like 20+ hp. E85 is were it's at.

Forget motor swapping. Everyone talks about it, but NOBODY does it. It's too complicated. Stick with the trusty 1.5 Turbo. The SI pistons are very durable, with near stock PSI. Invest on clutch and tires.
Get the intercooler upgrade before dyno tuning....its going to reduce timing when it gets to hot from heat soaked intercooler

Hey man! An upgraded intercooler is a must! Also, why don't you use TSP Stage 1 MAP 3? 21 PSI is MAP 2. 24-25 PSI is super fun :)

you should go AWE touring. it is objectively the superior exhaust. i just couldnt bring myself to spend that much on it
Was the Genesis a manual or automatic? I test drove a Genesis 3.8 automatic and there was no way it could keep up with my 2006 3.8 Eclipse manual. The automatic completely crippled it which surprised me considering that the only significant differences in the engines is that the Genesis engine had GDI. With GDI the Genesis should have crushed the Eclipse but couldn't touch it. The Eclipse as 100% stock.

I got rid of my 2018 Honda Civic si cuz I got bored of it, it was Fbo, didn’t make any videos of it sadly, but I got a 1997 Honda Civic that I’m making videos of an upgrading it, hopefully I can have more fun than the other civic but I do regret getting rid of it so keep it and get another car down the line bro ! It’s clean.

I think he meant that the pump handle doesn't lock so you have to hold it the whole time pressing the trigger

kamionkami1 lol what do you drive? Ofc if you drive something with more than 400hp it will be slow but for a car sold at around 35-40k, its pretty quick. (Type R)

If you’re looking for a horsepower number, why not try the free Virtual Dyno app on the PC? Coming from someone who went through several dyno tunes, I’ve gotten pretty close numbers with that app.

U don’t need a clutch right now, if u are making more then 400hp then change ur clutch. I will recommend the intercooler for sure and down pipe and front pipe also get the dyno tune

I highly doubt a 2.0 genisis can make 450 horsepower on stock internals 😂 maybe for a day then it will blow up. Anyways good run bro! I’m slowly building my 10th gen Si and seeing your channel gives me that motivation and knowledge to my build keep it up!

All gas has ethanol mixed in nowadays. The v power is just marketing for their additives. Mainly just keeps the engine clean. California doesnt have 93 octane. If you want you can add like 3 to 4 gallons of 100+ octane but that's not easy or cheap to find.
