    I'm super late to get this pinned comment I was out getting the redemption for part 2 so make sure you subscribe so you don't miss that.
    Anywhoo welcome back and as always thank you so much for sticking around for the time I needed to take off. But it felt so good to get back on the trails with the capital divide I route I have created using some of my favourite trails that I have found over the last couple of years. Connecting Edinburgh to London, the long term plan though is more epic with plans to extend this over to Cardiff - Dublin - Belfast sounds good ayy. As always, thanks for the continued support. ❤

    • @KeepSmilingAdventures
      @KeepSmilingAdventures  3 месяца назад +3

      It's honestly just riding lots of combinations of different routes all over the place. I will use Komoot normally to plot them to get the GPX. But ultimately it's just getting out there and riding. If you check out www.keepsmilingadventures.com/ I have all the routes I covered on this channel, you can maybe find some routes you like the look of and get riding. Once you figured out what you like riding, you can put together a route you like, using the bits you like and missing the bits you don't.

    47 quid is literally insane. like you say, no wonder theyre going out of business. when i was looking for a new touring bike i told multiple bike shops ive got thousands just sitting in the bank for a new bike and almost every one of them had this attitude of "dunno, cant help ya". a bit of common sense and making a few suggestions and they might of got themselves a sale but in the end i had to order online all the way from aberdeen!

    Great to see you back on the bike Josh! Strange to see you camped your first night really (really) close to where I live outside of Peebles. All of the bike shops in and around Peebles are expensive (local rental and business rates are very, very high) but NIck and Pippa at BSpoke are really kind and always go that extra mile. Sorry you had to ditch the route but glad you've recovered. Looking forward to the next episode!

      Well.. that's a £10 Mark-up (if the shop bought from Zyrofisher) so £47 is pretty much bang on target tbf. I'm guessing you went sealed bearing over bushing that's why they were more expensive. "Sram code SSP059000A"

      I really wouldn't want cable discs, off-road just don't really cut it. Especially loaded, I'm going to make this bike more reliable with a flat bar set up. The road hydraulic stuff is just too pricey for me to keep it going.
