75% CRITERIA MUST BE REMOVED
It's stupid how they're removing 75% criteria. Instead make the cutoffs for general category less or make it equal w all other categories. Please remove reservation criteria! Not all the SC/ST/OBC/etc category students are poor and still a backward class acc to the society that they get discriminated or face other issues like in the old times.
Not all general students are rich or have upper hand in the society to get specially treated. Come out of the old times and treat everybody equally.
Rather make a reservation based on income of parents.
A poor child whose parents cannot afford even the application fee should have 10%ile less than the middle/upper class ones cutoff to clear mains. Make reservation on smtg based on that. How hard is it to make a change?
That's what I'm thinking about.. the reservation acc to caste system should be revised as an EXAMPLE Many of my reserved frnds are wealthy... But PPL are still stuck in 75%

Bro please think about this too, I got 74.6 percent in boards and 98.2 percentile in jee mains, now I can get nothing at all and theres no meaning in writing advanced as well, that is why many more people like me want to remove this 75% criteria

1. Relaxation of criteria for General and OBC categories (70% in Class 12th) and SC/ST categories (55%) or else remove 75 percent criteria.
2. Free JEE Mains coaching for government college students, similar to AP Model and State IIITs like rgukt.
3. Allow unlimited attempts or increase the number of attempts for General and OBC (5 attempts) and SC/ST (7 attempts).
4. Reduce the high fees of JEE Mains coaching centers, which you term as "education mafia."
5. Utilize AI technology for JEE Mains.
6. Use laptops for JEE Mains with downloaded software, ensuring security and preventing internet access, similar to EVM machines.

Also, the exam for JEE Mains should be conducted on the same day all over india, this would eliminate the entire issues of cheating, and the paper will have a well balanced difficulty, unlike multiple days (easy and different)
bhai exam centres itni zyada volume of students ko kesai manage kar paye ge...if you have appeared for any national level examination like board exams etc I a pretty sure you must be aware that in every exam centre there is always a lot of rush sometimes students panik due to this rush get your hall ticket id card etc and then also if you are wearing something which is against the rules of NTA then it has to be removed... if such hosh posh is happening in shifts itself imagine how it would be when the exam will be conducted on the same day
i love how everyone thinks they're a smartass for saying it should be conducted in one day. socho thoda. agr ho skta to ho jata. the number of students giving this exam is WAY TOO high. there is no real way to conduct it in one day unless if it is conducted offline but we've seen what happens when exams are conducted offline (NEET UG 2024).
If it is not being removed then atoeast equalise the criteria for all the category why should the gen criteria be the one to have all the sufferings
Well, I might be a fool, but think, if I can score 190-200 in a tough shift, then my %ile would be around 99 something and if I get an easy paper, at even 230-240 marks, my % would be less than 99 something, so it would be a "punishment" of sort to any such brilliant student who get an easy shift, which would otherwise give him/her a very good rank. And everything is possible in our country, if they can conduct elections all over india in just 2-3 days then JEE is far too small as compared to that.
Also, reservations should be removed and cutoffs should be equal or at least sensible, the reservation for SC/ST are abnormally low. Why such unjust to the general category?
Cancel reservations based on castes then it will be useful to create some development in future

(SYLLABUS REDUCTION: ) because reducing the syllabus won't decrease the level of jee mains. even though when there was full syllabus. in a particular shift we won't get questions from all the chapters. so students have lots of time to practice and develop the confidence to the exam. instead of keep whole 11th and 12 th syllabus. they can have a standard syllabus. ex! if one students on the year wrote the 1st half of the syllabus. Next year other students can I write the next half of the syllabus. people who prepare for jee Advanced will study the whole syllabus. so it makes somewhat easier for students who only focus on jee mains.

I think Maths weightage should be increased & difficulty of maths should be reduced & little difficulty increase in chemistry & physics compared to 2024

Support that. Make it 90% at least. Why would anyone with medicore marks admitted to India's premier institutes? With such low cut off, students are just ignoring their +2 and studying only for JEE. Cut off should be 90-95 including English and that would make the students to put some efforts into proper studies.
