Hi guys from Edinburgh Scotland. A nice rainy evening and just got dark just before 11pm and will be getting light again at 3am. Good job I am 67 and have no kids here lol. My daughter has to use total blackout blinds for her 7 and 4 year olds. She also has a clock from Amazon for kids that has moon and sun on. When she sets it up the kids know not to get out of bed until the sun shows on clock even if it's light outside. They've had it since Xander was a year old. His sister Addy has always slept in. Just one thing Crandall. Hope you don't mind me saying this. Please stop picking kids up by their arms. My ex husband used to do it and one day he dislocated my son Sean shoulder. He also tore ligaments too. He is 45 now and still has shoulder problems with arthritis in his shoulder and inflammation especially when it's cold or damp out. I just want you to avoid future problems. If you ask any doctor they will tell you not to do it. Much love the entertainment unit loves fab.
God bless y'all I have a suggestion for the dog food stay away from dog food with corn in it it is not good for them and cat's we use the rice and lamb mix no chicken either for the corn is GMO and the chicken is chemically enhanced and don't give them the raw hide treats for they can't digest them hope this helps y'all God bless y'all keep doing what y'all do just saying 😎..
Poor Goose. I had a Beagle for 13 years and she used to get flea allergy dermatitis almost every summer. She lost hair, itched and was miserable. Steroids usually cleared it up and a strict routine of flea prevention was required. And I've had zucchini bread with and without choco chips and I prefer it without..just my preference.
Marci, i live in NJ and they banned plastic bags a couple years ago and i STILL forget to take my bags every time! I try leaving them in my trunk for the next time i go shopping but after unloading everything after hoing shopping i never end up going back out to the car and end up forgetting. I have taken the cart from Aldi's and walked to my trunk and put it all in my trunk or bagged it all at my trunk if i remembered them but just forgot to bring them inside with me. 😂
A lot of times, skin issues with dogs is due to the corn in the dog food. Because most dog food has corn in it, you may want to get dog food without corn.
Exactly! Corn is a carbohydrate and it feeds the yeast bacteria in the gut. Thus making the bacteria EXPLODE in the dogs body. And it comes out in the skin, ears, digits, and mouth. The yeast makes trouble all over their bodies. My sheltie got spots all over him and the vet told me to give him baths everyday in a certain kind of soap. I told her I dont have that kind of time. And I didnt. It takes forever to bathe a sheltie. So, she said do it every other day. She then gave me a prescription for dog food. She said there is plant protein in it that tricks the body into thinking it is eating real meat. She sounded very convincing so I went along with it. Well after like two week on it my dog was not getting better but worse. So, I looked at the ingredients. It was ALL CORN. Needless to say I threw out the rest of that large bag of dogfood. I wouldnt even donate that crap to the animal shelter. Come find out at the next vet visit he test positive for a staff infection. Which that treatment worked. My dog did develop issues with vomiting like a year later and so did my other dog. Found out it was pancreatitis. Which I know for a fact it was the dog food. Cause I cook their food now and they dont get sick. :)

My youngest son is 23 years old. He would forget Mothers Day and my birthday if I didn’t remind him. He’s not a person to give cards/gifts, or hugs or anything else. He doesn’t usually remember to even wish me Happy Mothers Day or happy birthday.
Have the dogs thyroid checked. I had to go to three different Vets to finely get an answer. Zucchini chocolate cake is great also. Yes chocolate chips in the bread.

Ask your vet about goose having sunburn causing his issues.....we had a weimaraner who used to get it and every summer she would have a blade spot on her tail ...just a thought

Have them check you dog for a staff infection. They can treat that. If its due to diet do like I did. Don't feed him anymore dog food. Yes, I know its time consuming to make your own food for your dog. But, it is so rewarding to see your dog feeling good and looking good. I have two dogs. My little dog is more sensitive to fatty meat. So, for her I cook chicken in the crock pot and I cook up some white rice and I add a vegetable. Once its all mixed together and cooled down, I put a meals worth in freezer bags and put them in the freezer and take out when the dog is ready to eat and zap it in the microwave. Baggies are expensive. So, after use I flip them inside out and wash them in the sink and then let them dry and I reuse them. For my bigger dog I buy the 10 lb beef that comes in those long rolls at walmart and I fry like 3 or 4 lbs and add white rice and a vegetable as well. You could even let it cook in the crock pot. Make sure you drain it very well. That beef has a lot of fat in it. Your gonna want to it strain really well. You dont want their pancreas to get overwhelmed with too much fat. That is when the dog will chuck up yellow slime and it can also be rust colored cause it can have blood in it. If this happens dont feed them for a day or two. Let his tummy rest. And then boil some white rice and offer the milky rice water to him and see if he can hold it down. But, the stomach must rest until it can hold down rice water. Offer lots of water during this time.They can get very sick and get dehydrated and even need hospitalization. Which could end up costing thousands of dollars and the pet could die. This is pancreatitis and it can be very serious and fatal. My dogs no longer chuck up and their stools are solid and if they go where they were not suppose to go then it is easy to pick up. I will never feed my dogs store bought dog food ever again. And honestly anymore the dog food is just as expensive as buying the meat and making it myself. I love you all and thank you so much for allowing us to see you and your family. I am an identical twin. My twin has passed on and so has my parents. And watching the boys makes me think of what my parents must of gone through with me and my sister. It gives me much greater respect for them knowing we must of kept them so busy...

I'd consider getting a food dehydrator so you can make your own. Commercially prepared dried fruits typically have additives. Your boys are growing up so quickly! I remember those days with five kids in tow. Ours are just a year apart & a set of twins! You're adjusting great to having twins! I hope your baby that was vomiting is doing better now. For goose, buy the human shampoo (coal tar) it treats psoriasis hence hair loss on dogs. Great for itchy hair. Lathing him up keeping it on for a period of time and repeat for the first time. Then do again every second day. He will smell great as well. As wash his matress in it if he has bedding.
I have a really cheap food processor I bought 20 years ago expecting to hardly ever use it but I have ended up using it several times a week and I wouldn't go without one now. No chocolate chips in Zucchini bread, maybe ok in Banana bread if you must but not in Zucchini or caret bread/cake
That is typical grocery shopping with littles. I do like the system my daughter and son-in-law came up with as their family kept getting bigger. They started taking turns doing the weekly shopping and would take a child with them, and the other would sta home with the rest of the kids.. After they picked up the groceries, my daughter or sil would take whichever child they brought with them to a fast food place for a date lunch. It is something the kids look forward to each week. And gives my daughter and sil some one on one time with each child. 💖💖💖
I love our ALDIs , we have two where I live , opposite sides of town. I wish we had an Atwood’s , closest we have is a Tractor Supply and. Farm and Fleet .

My cat has done this since 1 1/2 years old. Treated for OCD and many other She's 10 now. There is no hard answer what it is. Seasonal Allergies. Food you name it. She has almost been naked from licking. Shes breaking out real bad again. There is a med for cats maybe one for dogs that vet orders. But it comes in tube and you take just a little rub on inside of year. So easy. No fight over pills. But it helps her. Good luck
Add fish oil or olive oil to the dog food it helps with skin issues. I also got women Burt's Bees itch idol thing dog spray and it helps so much for my dog. I spray her belly 2-4 times a week depending on how bad she is. My pup has grass allergies and her belly turns red and she scratchs her belly all night if I don't spray her. I am getting ready to kill all my grass in my back yard as it will be cheaper then the meds they want to put her on. I don't have an extra 500.00 for meds every month so the grass is going. I live on a corner lot with a huge back yard so this will be fun!
Marci, maybe you could take a couple of small snack bags for the boys when they are in the store. Normally kids want everything they look at, this would probably help.
My sister had to go grain free for her dogs and she ended up with Salmon and sweet potato(I think), her male loved it and her female hated it. Can't win all the time LOL
My Husband and I have always cooked each other a great big breakfast for Mother's and Father's day. It's a tradition for sure. 😊 He gets lucky cause I usually cook him dinner too. ❤ He will go get dinner. 😂
Crandall my German Shepherd has a problem with his skin in the summer and he itches as well we found that with his food we keep him away from chicken as a protein in his food as a lot of breeds of dogs are allergic to it. Goose might be the same especially if you changed his food. We get a lamb and rice based kibble which suits him but there’s plenty of beef or fish varieties you just need to check the ingredients .😊
My husband and I don't really celebrate holidays anymore except for the personal ones like birthday. We let each other sleep in and the other cooks and cleans that day so the holiday person just gets to relax. We've been married for 32 years so not much we need as presents so we just let each other take a day off.

Check into a chicken allergy for your dog. If Goose’s dog food is chicken based as so many are, that might be the reason of his skin irritation. Chicken is one of the biggest dog allergens in the dog world. We went through that with my dog and he’s now doing great. Transition him to something that is lamb, salmon or beef based without any chicken. Don’t give treats that have chicken either. To help him get over his current irritation, put some fish oil on his food. You can poke a capsule with a needle or just cut off the end of one with scissors and pour it on his food. I could also recommend a good probiotic that can help too if you want that. Best wishes!
when you bath him use conditioner on him after i buy the vet recommended clinical care hot spots and itch medicated spray and the shampoo my dog Terra we used this
He might have allergies as well as skin infection which the vet should give you medicated shampoo and that means 3 baths a week until cleared up…..hope you find a solution….
Hey E FAM, our state has removed plastic bags from our stores a couple of years ago. We have to bring our own bags. That wasn't too bad of a shop, but they sure can scream🤭. My husband and I don’t do anything for each other on Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. He doesn’t like doing any gift giving for birthdays or Christmas either. But I love giving and getting gifts for those days. They mean more to me than Mother’s & Father’s Day. I’ve had zucchini with and without chocolate chips and I like it either way.

Zucchini bread is a savory dish. 4 Zucchini, 1 onion, 2 tbs garlic, 1 cup Parmesan cheese, 3 tablespoons parsley, salt to taste, pepper to taste, 6 eggs, 2 cups bisquik, 1/2 cup olive oil and 1 tablespoons oregano. Bake at 350’ until golden brown and done in the middle (approximately 1 hour). Nope, no chocolate chips.
Just try a small loaf of those breads with the chocolate chips in case he or you doesn’t like. Then you don’t ruin a whole loaf. I made a chocolate chip pie once. I put in more chocolate chips than it called for and that was not a good thing. But it taught me to follow the recipe as written first, then make my own adjustments.

Sometimes dogs develop a chicken allergy. I have my labs on salmon and sweet potato dog food. Their coats are super shiny and skin isn’t dry

We use reusable bags here in Ontario Canada and also put a quarter in the cart at some stores.

My vet told me to put salmon oil on my dogs food for there itching and hair loss. That they had dry skin
Walnuts or pecans in z-bread! Just like banana bread--NUTS! I can only imagine taking 3 under 3/4 shopping. Break downs are normal.

Benadryl helps with itching/allergies in dogs...per vet's order.
That is typical grocery shopping with littles. I do like the system my daughter and son-in-law came up with as their family kept getting bigger. They started taking turns doing the weekly shopping and would take a child with them, and the other would sta home with the rest of the kids.. After they picked up the groceries, my daughter or sil would take whichever child they brought with them to a fast food place for a date lunch. It is something the kids look forward to each week. And gives my daughter and sil some one on one time with each child. 💖💖💖
I love our ALDIs , we have two where I live , opposite sides of town. I wish we had an Atwood’s , closest we have is a Tractor Supply and. Farm and Fleet .

My cat has done this since 1 1/2 years old. Treated for OCD and many other She's 10 now. There is no hard answer what it is. Seasonal Allergies. Food you name it. She has almost been naked from licking. Shes breaking out real bad again. There is a med for cats maybe one for dogs that vet orders. But it comes in tube and you take just a little rub on inside of year. So easy. No fight over pills. But it helps her. Good luck
Add fish oil or olive oil to the dog food it helps with skin issues. I also got women Burt's Bees itch idol thing dog spray and it helps so much for my dog. I spray her belly 2-4 times a week depending on how bad she is. My pup has grass allergies and her belly turns red and she scratchs her belly all night if I don't spray her.
I am getting ready to kill all my grass in my back yard as it will be cheaper then the meds they want to put her on. I don't have an extra 500.00 for meds every month so the grass is going.
I live on a corner lot with a huge back yard so this will be fun!
Marci, maybe you could take a couple of small snack bags for the boys when they are in the store. Normally kids want everything they look at, this would probably help.

My Husband and I have always cooked each other a great big breakfast for Mother's and Father's day. It's a tradition for sure. 😊 He gets lucky cause I usually cook him dinner too. ❤ He will go get dinner. 😂
Crandall my German Shepherd has a problem with his skin in the summer and he itches as well we found that with his food we keep him away from chicken as a protein in his food as a lot of breeds of dogs are allergic to it. Goose might be the same especially if you changed his food. We get a lamb and rice based kibble which suits him but there’s plenty of beef or fish varieties you just need to check the ingredients .😊

My husband and I don't really celebrate holidays anymore except for the personal ones like birthday. Check into a chicken allergy for your dog. If Goose’s dog food is chicken based as so many are, that might be the reason of his skin irritation. Chicken is one of the biggest dog allergens in the dog world. We went through that with my dog and he’s now doing great. Transition him to something that is lamb, salmon or beef based without any chicken. Don’t give treats that have chicken either. To help him get over his current irritation, put some fish oil on his food. You can poke a capsule with a needle or just cut off the end of one with scissors and pour it on his food. I could also recommend a good probiotic that can help too if you want that. Best wishes!

when you bath him use conditioner on him after i buy the vet recommended clinical care hot spots and itch medicated spray and the shampoo my dog Terra we used this

He might have allergies as well as skin infection which the vet should give you medicated shampoo and that means 3 baths a week until cleared up…..hope you find a solution….

Add some squirts of salmon oil to goose's food. Or dog was having bad skin issues, and a groomer suggested it. It helped our dogs skin so much.

Zucchini bread is a savory dish. 4 Zucchini, 1 onion, 2 tbs garlic, 1 cup Parmesan cheese, 3 tablespoons parsley, salt to taste, pepper to taste, 6 eggs, 2 cups bisquik, 1/2 cup olive oil and 1 tablespoons oregano. Bake at 350’ until golden brown and done in the middle (approximately 1 hour). Nope, no chocolate chips.

I just love Aldi's they are building one about a half hour from us.
Just try a small loaf of those breads with the chocolate chips in case he or you doesn’t like. Then you don’t ruin a whole loaf. I made a chocolate chip pie once. I put in more chocolate chips than it called for and that was not a good thing. But it taught me to follow the recipe as written first, then make my own adjustments.
I like shopping Aldi’s. I find a lot of good deals.
