When you started singing it gave me literal chills to the point where I started crying. This portrays Levi's character so perfectly he's been through so much and you caught that and put it in words. Daddyphatsnaps keep doing what your doing man and you should keep singing🥰😁❤
Intro: This is probably me reading too much into this song. This song was great though. If I just heard this song with no context, not seeing the title or nothing, I would've assumed it was about a military veteran that was from the roughest of rough areas and grew up in tough times, eventually signing up to be in the military just to get out of there. Then, after he grinded in the military for years on foreign land, rising through the ranks all the way to becoming a captain, he comes back to home soil to see the state of affairs - not liking what he sees - and starts to question what he was fighting for and why he was trying so hard to come back to this. And as the song would go on, it would show him gradually becoming optimistic about the future and becoming an important figure, not willing to let the status quo be what it was and he would try to bring some real change to his home. But this is a song about Captain Levi and it was sad, yet badass. Kinda like Levi. DPS can add a +1 to his list of hits.
