È assolutamente sano. Tutta la scuola del belcanto si basa sul colpo di glottide come allenamento e attacco del suono. Farlo in modo meno marcato in palcoscenico è una scelta stilistica, ma dal punto di vista anatomico non apporta nessun danno se fatto in modo corretto.
