Keep the right flipper up when the ball shoots out of the "forest" (or even better while it's still inside), it bounces safely onto the left flipper then and you can trap it there! Hope this helps.
It's interesting seeing just how you've progressed with your pinball skills. You're now cradling balls in multiball, lining up your shots, nuancing the ball with the flippers, etc. (You could use more dead flipper passing though...) Cheers.
Nah, when the ball comes out of the Loot hole, just hold the right flipper up until the ball bounces over to the left flipper then hold the ball on the left flipper to trap it and line up your next shot. I just got my knight to level 100 a few hours ago. It's great because Jackpots are worth a little over 10 million each. My high score on XBLA is nearly 2 billion now.
That shot you were talking about is easy if you know the trick. The instant it's about to hit the flipper is when you press it. If you do it correctly you can even send it rolling back into the cannon continuously to get a combo going. As a side note, most of my drains are a result of the side lanes not having the kickback activated earlier.
It's about time you reviewed this table. Anyway, great review. I really enjoy playing this table while taking usual breaks from other games like Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Rayman 3 HD. Highly recommended.
Yeah, but there's nothing like the feeling of real pinball table. There was this one I used to love. It was a cops and robbers set-up, but if you did really good, it spat a coin out than rolled down the glass for a free game. That and the Crypt Keeper one.
God, I forgot how much bloom and blur the tables had in FX2. Been playing FX3 for so long now, looking back at FX2 physically hurts my eyes. Which sucks, because there's actually a handful of tables I have in FX2 that were never ported to FX3, so I still have to go back to FX2 if I want to play tables like South Park, Ninja Gaiden, Street Fighter, or Plants vs Zombies. I still don't understand why they're not allowed to port the tables over. I understand licensing issues prevent them from selling the tables, but I don't see why they can't still be ported for people that already bought them.
You know, it *is* possible to like FX2 *and* Pinball Arcade. I know, mindblowing concept. It's also theoretically possible to NOT insult someone simply because they like a game that you do not, or because they dont like a game that you do. I know, that one's pretty brain-shattering too. I have all 3 of those games, and ALL tables for FX2 and Pinball Arcade. I enjoy ALL of them. They're good games, and it's easy to see why people like any of them.
This also came out some time ago on PS3 Zen Pinball. I own all the tables, but still not very good at the game. In my mind it often ends my run with cheap tactics like fly of the ramp at warp speed streight down the middle where my flippers have no hope of hitting. But maybe thats just me ;) Spiderman table seems to be the best for me. Ball stays in play along time but it can take a while to get the higher scores comming in.
i know this video is old and you probably don't play this anymore, but when the ball shoots out of the loot hole, hold the right flipper up until the ball shoots out and hits it. favorable and easy to control result 100% of the time
Does anyone know how he gets that little view window in the upper right corner? I have this for PS3 and can't find anything like that...is it specific to the 360 version?
@w0mblemania He has youtubes ads enabled, which is very annoying so he can make money. So they are his ads on his channel. He could choose not to have them, like most channels do.
This is an awesomely designed table and one which is easy to get into a groove on. The only problem is that you need to level your knight to 100 to really have a shot at the top of the leaderboards. Well, that and you have to assassinate the guys who rack up the scores of 12 billion. =P
@Slowpokessss He's got an entire pinball channel! Hey Mark, when it fires at that flipper... DON'T FLIP! Let it bounce over to the other side... problem solved :)
I really dislike all the new tables Zen Studios have been making for their Pinball games. I liked it when they had awesome looking tables that seemed somewhat realistic and believable. I don't like all the animated charters they have parading all over the table. :(
Wow, this table is just ugly. Pinball was meant to be played in a dimly lit arcade/bar, not in a bright kids room. I can't wait for The Pinball Arcade to be released on XBLA in a couple weeks. Real tables and better physics that blow Pinball FX2 away. Real pinball is the best pinball.

Yep, holding up the right flipper works great. And then up the sword ramp from the left flipper!
got to love Pinball FX!!
To not immediately lose the ball when it shoots out of the loot hole, just hold the right flipper. It'll bounce off and to the left flipper.
if they made a pinball table like this in real life i would love it
i love pinball :D

That's how we do it in Kingsport!
Reminds me of that Sierra games studio pinball game.

This and sorcerers lair are among the better tables i have ever played.

I want to see a Centipede table
Im going to new york this summer and I might stop in Pitsburg. You think theyd be happy to see a fan?

They should patch it with a top down view and tilt it 90 degrees. Then I could lay my TV on its back and get real arcade feel.

so i bought this add on and it won't let me play it on my ps3, do i have to buy the original zen pinball to play my add on?
