Good looking Tracer there! When I first saw the red oil in the check window, I was like, "Yep, he's running that Motul in it!" I had a 20' Yamaha MT-10 that I put the same 7100 oil in it and my wife told me that it made it run smoother. I had made it into a sport tourer but sold it because I wanted to get back into motocross again. Now, I want my street bike back and plan on getting that new 24' Tracer 9 GT plus. Can't wait! The MT-10 was cool and had good power but it gave off a lot of engine heat and living in Arizona didn't help that situation much.
You'll love the Tracer, it also comes with the bags so you have the ability to carry more. I keep the bags on in the twisties and it still handles well. Youre gonna love that bike brother!
Thanks! Ordered the motul 7100 and filter for mine to get ready for 600 mile change. Ill stick to the book and do changes every 4k with new filter every other change.
Cool! This is the first bike I haven't wanted put an aftermarket exhaust on. Sounds good? Check! Cleanly mounted (invisible). Check! Heavier? so what? I don't feel the difference in the street. There's a nice rumble that isn't offensive and it doesn't drown out the wonderful induction noise. To each his own though.
