Time for News No One Asked For! Motionless in White comes out of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of PA (yes, The Office) along with Breaking Benjamin although Ben Burnley considers himself to be straight up a Jersey boy having come from Atlantic City but moved to the northern PA area because of the strength of the music scene which apparently was sorely lacking in AC. Now to add another layer. Another band from this area (who had been signed, left their label, swapped out a couple of musicians, changed names, broke up and have gotten back together) is Lifer who is fronted by Nick Coyle who now also plays guitar and provides some vocals for the FLA band COLD. And of course the original guitarist and bassist of Lifer left Lifer to be in the original Breaking Benjamin lineup. I believe the guitarist has come back to Lifer but had heard that he had joined the LA band Earshot (if you haven't heard Wait...you should check it out) but with the pandemic I hadn't heard much more than that. Anyway..back to Motionless in White. While I love their entire discography I've personally been more pleased with their last two efforts (Graveyard Shift and Disguise). They began going with more power choruses. Not that they hadn't done it here and there in the past but they've done it far more on the past two and that is right up my alley. My favorite has to be the heavy ass verses that really opens up to a powerful chorus. If you haven't heard them here the motionpicture versions they did of Eternally Yours and Another Life. I also love heavier bands that will drop a stripped down yet equally powerful rendition of a song. And it's interesting to think that those songs are both about the same relationship. During. And After.
You two should try listening to Clown Core. Its a super talented duo with a very insane music style. Their songs are short and you can cover a handful of videos in one reaction. I recommend Hell Toilet Computers Infinite Realm of Incomprehensible Suffering
I just went to the Trinity Of Terror Tour, the Black Veil Brides sucked & Motionless In White was phenomenal they fucking killed it! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 But Ice Nine Kills stole the show! 🖤 Especially Take Your Pick ⛏️ live with Spencer and the rest of the band coming out with the miner helmets on with the lights on, on the helmets the mining helmet lights and the actual miner walking around in the gas mask and the actual pick axe the helmet with the flashlight on it and the overalls and etc 🔥🔥🖤 dude first time seeing both bands live & INK AND MIW fucking killed it! But INK completely blew me the fuck away but I love both bands MIW and INK I just saw these 2 bands on the Trinity Of Terror Tour last monday in Buffalo, NY & I got barricade! & Caught an MIW Guitar Pick I also got a MIW setlist but gave it to this girl next to me who was sad she didn't get it so I gave her the setlist
I love alot of Motionless In Whites older songs. Voices being probably my favorite song by them but this song definitely rivals it. Now it's kinda halarious but I am a Christian but I absolutely love this band and I'm a huge death metal fan. I accually was emo for many years starting in my sophomore year and going well into my mid-twenties. I'm not your stereotypical Christian to say the least. I have great faith in God but I also believe in being genuine with who you are. I personally don't believe in religion... I believe in faith
