I have worked with the court system for 32 years. Attorneys, Prosecutors, and Judges are friends, colleagues, and political parties members. Every person that worked within Fulton County Courts knew of this relationship. They just got caught. The judge should have excused himself and bought in a visiting judge. Fanni admitted to misuse of campaign funds. All parties need to be disbarred and criminally charged. However, I don't believe the judge will do anything. I don't think Fanni, boyfriend, or his attorney thought about text messages or cell phone records.

I heard an interesting theory. Judge McAfee is running for State Court Judge in May. Right now he's unopposed. There are about 2 weeks left to fill out the paperwork to get on the ballot to oppose him. That's why he gave about 2 weeks to make a decision. If he's unopposed he could then freely toss Fani without activist retribution.

@diegojines-us9pc No. I am saying that the President has plenary power to declassify anything he wants at any time for any reason for as long as he is the President (Navy vs Egan Decision, 1988 SCOTUS) and can then determine that the documents are Personal Records (per the Presidential Records Act and the 2012 Clinton "socks" ruling (SDNY). The President, not NARA, not the Head Librarian, not the DOJ, not anyone else, determines whether or not any document is truly a "state secret". No magic declassification process applies to the President either. This authority is unique to the President. It does not apply to Senators (Biden), Secretaries of State (H. Clinton), or Vice Presidents (Pence and Biden).
