Thanks for sharing Ben's reason for becoming a vegan, very touching story. Ben kind of look like the actor Daniel Dae Kim and Lucy's energy & personality is off the hook. One of my favforite couple on RUclips. Love see no color !!
Thank you for posting such a personal journey, Ben--you are doing a great service for not only animals on this planet, but for humans, too, spreading all the positive, good points that others need to hear. And I love how you show just how big your heart is, when you're willing to wear your heart on your sleeve and get emotional. By doing so, you drive home the point that by choosing the vegan way of life, you CARE, something that is can be so sorely lacking sometimes in today's world.❤ I have to say I especially loved this video because I was the only one I've known, other than those who follow the Jain religion, who always try to catch and release mosquitos and other insects back outside. That mosquito's life may not mean much to people...but it sure means A LOT to the mosquito!!✨ And finally, I have to tell you about how growing up in Winchester, Massachusetts just outside of Boston, US, there's a famous old joke about how the Post Office was able to deliver a letter to the person with only a couple clues on the envelope. The 1st line said simply "WOOD". The next line down said "JOHN". And the final 3rd line down read "MASSACHUSETTS". It went to "JOHN UNDERWOOD in ANDOVER, MASSACHUSETTS". (And yes, there's a town called Andover, 39 kilometers north of Boston. Reading it out loud will help, by the way.😉)
Your message is so touching and moving that you made us emotional~ ❤ We feel so connected with your genuinely beautiful heart~ So happy to find out you also catch insects and let them out~ 🥰 "Underwood" story is something that you cannot hear these days~ Thanks for sharing~ 😊 Your writing sounds like a poem that makes us read over and over again~ ❤ Your presence makes us feel strong and united in what we believe~ 🌱 Truly appreciate your loving message~ ❤ Sincerely, Lucy and Ben~ 🕊
@@vegan.blasian You two are just TOOOO kind--you give me a "case of 'da warm fuzzies'!!!" Hahaha❤😘❤ I have to confess that rarely has someone's replies to my comments affected me so deeply--thank you from the bottom of my soul. It means so much when we know that someone had heard us--really HEARD whatever we are trying to convey, when we can connect to others on a deeper level; I really believe that the lack of that communication below the surface level has been partly responsible for much of the division in the world today. So THANK YOU for continuing to spread your love for not just humanity but for the animal kingdom as well. THANK YOU for showing the world we fall in love with an individual soul, not merely a certain race or age or social status, etc.. And THANK YOU for for having the courage to share your lives with everyone who is lucky enough to find you on the internet, like I did. (Then again, did simply luck have anything to do with it???😉🙏✨🥰 ) Love ya! Lauri❤

I recently joined your channel. I would like to visit Korea next year and as a vegetarian a lot of people have been telling me that it may be difficult to find things to eat but after seeing you guys on Jin’s street interview, I hope I can ask you guys for some vegetarian/vegan options when I visit Korea. I am in the process of cutting out dairy because I am also lactose intolerant, so I am quite happy to come across you guys 😊
Thanks for loving message~ 🥰 Oh don't worry~ There are many vegan bakeries and restaurants in Seoul now~ When you visit Seoul please let us know~ We will share all of our favorite vegan places~ So happy that you have joined this path~ ❤🥰🥰🥰❤👍🙏
😢😢Thank you so much. I was vegetarian so many years ago. I don’t even like the smell of meat more and more. ❤❤ Great representation of visual for the world to know.
Watched both of your "why I became vegan" videos and resonated with both of them. Initially I changed my diet and lifestyle for health reasons but it opened a whole new world to me in terms of mindset. After literally cleansing my body, my mind was healed as well and it gave me a different perspective which helped me find balance, a new level of kindness, consideration and happiness. Heal yourself and you Heal the world, I know it's possible. One aspect of nutrition I learned was nutrition density, is not as important as availability or digestibility. If we eat what the body can easily digest it gets everything it needs in the right amount. Love and Light to you both!
Amen to "Heal yourslef and you heal the world" 🙏🙏🙏 What a wise and beautiful message~ Can feel your loving, kind and peaceful energy~ Deeply grateful to you~ ❤🥰 Love and Light to you as well~ 💖
Thank you so much for sharing your story. We're not Buddhists, we're just dairy free vegetarian, but we do identify with a lot of what you shared. My mum was vegetarian & my dad was flaxitarian when they met. But my grandma fed me meat while my parents were at work, because she thought ppl need to eat meat for to be healthy & strong. But I was still weak child. My grandma ate at least average amount of meat, but she got cancer in the early 90s. After the surgery, Doctors told her she had 6months to live. But my mum said no, & told her to eat multigrain brown rice & only vegetable side dishes & green leafy juice everyday. Then she became healthy again & just passed away in late 2010s. I became mostly plant based in the late 90s & fully gave up occasional fish & dairy in the 2015. I am healthier now than before giving up daily & fish. Our little kids are dairy free vegetarians & are little taller & healthier than other kids their age. My husband & my mother in law have been plant based all their lives & they are healthier & much younger looking than other ppl their age. Many years ago, my husband & I did see a documentary about how farm animals are slaughtered for meet & also how dairy industries operate. Our bodies were already not tolerating dairy, but the documentaries & lectures fully convinced us. I wish you all the best in your lives & yourube videos, & looking forward to hearing Lucy's story too.
Thank you for sharing your story as well~ Your family story also proves the power of plant based diet in our life. You have been very fortunate to grow and live around the same minded compassionate people. Now I can see the overlapping principles in all the major beliefs one of which is respecting all life. We are really happy to hear from you~ ❤❤❤ Best wishes from Seoul, Korea~ 🙏🙏🙏
It's interesting to hear your stories, because many people I've met only go vegan because of the health benefits, which is still good. But, I dont meet that many that talk about the animals.❤
That film was the first docu I shared with my entire family about how we treat animals. We all switched to plant based diet after that night and never looked back. That was 18 years ago.
I visited Seoul 15 years ago with my family and made it into a vegan tour. It was fun hunting for vegan places to eat. I'm sure it's so much easier now to eat vegan there. I'm not into religion but I choose this diet because it is intuitively more aligned with my spirituality and core values.
Everyone is entitled to their own personal view , so why the propaganda statement. I eat meat but don't take offence to what they are saying. Each to their own .
Aside from the message in the video, I love seeing how you two love each other. It’s so sweet🥹❤
