Thank you for watching my interview with Michael Keaton! If you liked it, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE! I’m posting new celebrity interviews every week!
The fact that this doesn't get picked up SPECIFICALLY because you got confirmation that he put the cowl back on is mind boggling. *crosses fingers*
Amazing interview!!! 🤟❤️
Please get Sylvester Stallone and ask him about Rambo 6 (Rambo: Last Blood 2). He's confirmed himself that he has a "great idea" for a potential sequel that would continue the post-credit ending scene of Last Blood and show us Rambo taking refuge in an Indian reservation.
These were some excellent questions bravo!
Hey.. if the suit fits, wear it..
I cannot believe Michael Keaton is 69 years old. He looks great!
Ay he's the number
I did not know that
Omg 69 I gotta go hi five somebody.
Hes like mayor west now. Lmao
Only for another month until he turns 70
0:41 Love how Keaton's face lights up when he realises how great a question it is
It must be very uplifting to hear a question like that instead of the usual “when is Beetlejuice 2 coming out”.
I'm surprised he got him to talk about BATMAN!! This guy is a hypnotist or something lol
4:12 as well
WHAT A TALENTED
ACTOR"!
Keep in mind he'd almost stopped acted for like a decade and a half, and at this age he's probably rightfully amazed that he's working.
The one thing that I’ve always liked about Michael Keaton is that he is one of us. He comes across as just a genuine guy. You can tell that he loves the work and really enjoys his fans. So humble and nice.
Exactly!, he looks so genuine, so humble, even after playing so huge roles!!!
Great work, Jake! It doesn't get better than Keaton repeating "man, that's a good question" three times to himself.
ruclips.net/video/77qt7dMzkKE/видео.html
😆😆🤣 because it was a GOOD Question
The problem with good questions is that they usually don't have a good answer.
This man aged soo well 🤯
They should make a Batman beyond with him.
If the studios were smart they would of already jumped on this
It's so refreshing to see an interviewer that asks genuinely engaging questions about acting instead of the typical "What was it like to work with so and so?" routine.
Good lord. There are a lot of them out there if you could remove your blinders for just a moment and look. Crazy how there are so many anti-media, anti-news reporting people out there who you still find EVERYWHERE in the audiences of this media.
@@generalyellor8188 What are you talking about? Are you some political nut?
@@maybeitsyou1317 He's trying to defend interviewers lmao
It's been 32 years since Keaton first played Batman and he is still the greatest actor to ever play Batman. Keaton is Batman and cant wait to see him return next year as The Dark Knight
Dude, great work here! I'm sure they didn't want you talking BATMAN, and you got HIM to go there! haha Plus you can tell he enjoyed your questions. Killer job. What a cool dude and such a legendary career.
Hey Andy!!
Lol I thought the same thing bro!!!!
Shut the hell up Andy
@@youreajoke6782 Andy got 190 likes, and you got 6 likes, so maybe you should shut up man.
And you're probably looking for something Britney Spears related to make a video on. Smh.
He's basically 70 and he looks great here. If you told me he just turned 60, I would believe it. Can't wait to see first shots and clips in the batsuit 🔥
Wait he is 70??!
I figure he was 64
I had to google just to make sure. Cannot believe this guy is pushing 70!
Too afraid to say 69 huh😒
@Paulie Walnuts it’s called surgery!
Keaton is so cool he even made the McDonalds guy interesting in The Founder.
Great movie
I agree, he was great a Ray Kroc!!
Also because of McDonald's complaining about Batman Returns. Tim Burton and Michael Keaton stepped out of the 3rd Tim Burton Batman film.
Keaton is a versatile actor. If you didn’t know who Keaton was, you wouldn’t think the guy who played Ray Kroc in The Founder would make a good Bruce Wayne.
@@VigilanteVegan I'm old enough to remember we all said "Mister Mom is gonna play Batman?".
The man is 69 years old he doesn’t look it. Glad to see him back as Bruce Wayne/Batman
He’s aged insanely well
Money dose help.
I didn't realize he is only 5 months older than me. That makes it even more awesome that he's putting the bat-suit back on. Maybe I'll go through my storage and see if I can find my old Superman Costume.
Nice
He's 69?!?! Nice😉😁👌!!!
I appreciate how you don't ask the same run of the mill questions celebrities always get and they clearly appreciate it too.
I still cannot believe that we’re getting both Batfleck and Keaton in costume in one movie 😭
I know, right!
I just hope they do justice to Tim Burtons Gotham and not create a generic city like we see in the DCEU. If Gotham looks like it was pulled out of Batman 1989 then I'll be so happy hell maybe add some cyberpunk elements like Batman beyond to show it's getting closer to that era.
@@CaptainAmercia I’ve always said that IF A Batman existed in Cyberpunk’s universe, it would definitely be Michael Keaton’s😂
@@tylerpierce2041 would be a near CyberPunk Gotham like we see in the opening of Batman Beyond when Batman has a heart attack believe he was in his 60s to 70s while Batman Beyonds main setting was just full on CyberPunk when Batman was an old man in his 80s
Immagin if they meet each other.
I cannot believe we are living in a time again where Batman is back as Batman 😂
I can😂
This is a great time to be alive
that is so true forget Bateman or Batfleck or RBatz.. the REAL Batman of 89 is back!
@@bozotheclown169 you are a bozo if you don't think Bale is the best
@@immadumbfuck4942 He wasn't, he just starred in good movies. I'd rate Ben Affleck and Val Kilmer higher than Bale.
I'm Pittsburgh born and raised. Awesome to know he was from the same area. HE IS BATMAN
Multiplicity was underrated. If we lack depth, we never understand debt..
How things have changed! I remember when they announced that Michael Keaton was picked to play Batman for the 1989 Batman movie. The fans were in an uproar. Keaton was known as a comedian ( even though he had already starred in Clean And Sober"). The fans were paranoid that the film was going to be another "silly" version of Batman like the tv series (which I later grew to appreciate), so the studio went out of the way to show that this Batman was going to be badass! They released a clip of the Batmobile blasting it's way into the Joker's chemical factory to reassure the fans!
That film to this day is my favorite Batman film. Keaton is revered by fans as Batman and Jack Nicholson is to me the most faithful to the comics portrayal of the Joker to ever grace the silver screen!!
Keaton is now a legend🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
Some of the fans never stopped being in an uproar.
@@axebomber2108 That is quite true.🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
theres always an uproar. no one was born to play batman. even actors who have only done superhero-like roles get panned by some because those actors are too safe and dont contribute anything new. we all have very specific and different image of batman we like
My Life (1993) is so underrated. One of the saddest films I've ever seen. Keaton is probably my favorite actor of all time. Great questions Jake. 👏
I love that movie his performance was incredible.
Totally agree!!! Great film with a lot of heart
I am so stoked for Keaton to return! I never thought he would and after watching the new Flash trailer it gave me chills all over my body. Keaton is back!!
When I heard about this I thought it was stupid. I searched for a video, found this, saw how incredibly fit he looks and how much presence he has, and now I’m totally stoked too!
What an incredibly great interviewer. It's refreshing to see someone genuinely seem happy and present to be talking to an actor and ask some great questions. It puts the interviewee at ease, and intern puts us as a viewer at ease. Great work.
I got such a butterfly feeling seeing him, can't imagine how it was for you Jake.
Best Batman I ever know, hope he really comes back
It’s so rare that the interviewer is both a FAN and asks GREAT questions. FANTASTIC INTERVIEW!
Keaton really jumps around with his thoughts when he talks lol! It’s funny though. Love him to death! He has always been one of my inspirations as an actor. Played so many iconic characters and an amazing physical comedian. Glad you got to talk with him Jake!
& Remember, that’s a great question! 😂
Wow, I'm shocked how good Mr. Keaton looks! Can't wait to see him in The Flash.
Me too.
Mate been watching you for years now. If you have time I reckon you should to some tutorial videos on interviewing techniques and researching for questions that engage the subject. You really are one of the best I have ever seen.
Kind words, man - not sure I know enough to make a tutorial video, I just really ask questions I want to know the answers to. Your kind words and support means the world.
@@JakesTakesTV I wouldn't sell myself short if I was you, however you can't teach enthusiasm so fair play. Anyways have a good one, keep up the good work mate
No one will ever believe how much Michael Keaton helped me throughout my childhood... a victim of abuse I would escape through all his batman movies, I had no other happiness back then but through watching him. I'm so happy he did the right thing and came back.
I'm sorry I was abused sexually by a teacher
No kid should go through that…but I had a similar situation…we made it through it tho bro💪…
I’m glad you found happiness in the Batman films to help you through those tough times. To me, that’s what makes movies art. They touch and change people’s lives
Bless you, Sebastian.
@@ianmeadows8719 good for you.
Nah I'm joking
Sorry man
He looks great for his age and looks to be in great shape!
Missed opportunity to talk about Beetle Juice when Michael said he hadn’t talked to Burton about Batman because they were talking about “other things” with a grin
Surprised not more people caught that. I was about to comment the same....
First thing that popped into my mind too!
Stooooooked!
Or maybe, Burton's Batman III??
I suspect Beelejuice AND the Batman Beyond we've all been waiting for
I wish WB would have made the dark knight returns movie that starred Keaton. That would have been epic
perhaps if The Flash does well enough at the Box Office.. they will do it and Batman Beyond
Jake gives really great interviews. I would feel so accomplished being told that something i asked was a really great question!
GREAT way to get him to “admit” that he actually DOES put the batsuit and cowl back on in The Flash. Very well done!!
It’s crazy. I remember watching Batman returns with my dad when I was a kid. Now I’m 2023 he’s back. This is awesome.
Multiplicity is such an underrated gem, good to know how much he enjoyed it. Seen it so many times.
Gotta love Keaton! He is amazing can’t wait to see him put the suit on again!
This guy really is Batman, he’s analysing everything the interviewer is saying lol

I'm so glad Keaton mentioned Multiplicity. One of my favorite films of all time. Such a great feel good movie. He's amazing in everything he does. It makes me even happier to know he enjoyed filming that movie.
I haven’t seen an interview this good in years. Amazing work Jake. You’re a natural!
Batman 89 was the Batman movie that set a new standard of all Batman movies. Much like Superman 78. If it was made in the early 80s, it would've been a different set up.
I could listen to Michael’s voice all day long, so soothing 🙂
Me too.
It's so nice that you actually let them talk. There are so many interviewers that ask a question, and then ask another one mid topic, and cut them off. Thank you.
Keaton inspired me with Batman 1989 to change the world.
I still have the original VHS tape with the movie at home.
I wish you the best Mike and thank you for everything.
You are my hero.
Have you changed it yet?
Just when I thought my esteem for Michael Keaton could not get any higher, he has to go and mention how much he enjoys hockey. Esteem through the roof!!!
Jake, you’re a master at avoiding complimenting crummy movies.
You ask questions no one else asks. Please don’t ever stop. This interview was incredible. You have a way to disarm your guests and make them comfortable to speak with you about anything
Eddie Brock&Venom : "We are Venom"
Affleck & Keaton : "We are Batman"
😂
Afflek ain't Batman, he's junk.
Honestly, Affleck isn’t the best, on my opinion.
I preferred Keaton. :)
Yes, Let’s Go! THE Batman is back baby!
Danny Elfmans score better play when Keaton shows up in the Flash
I mean it was in Josstice League so I'm sure they'll use it in The Flash too
who is scoring The Flash do we know yet?
@@bozotheclown169 I'm not sure
@@bozotheclown169 It seems to be Benjamin Wallfisch, at least it is according to this:
cosmicbook.news/flash-filming-logo-music-score
Of course. It sucked big time when it was played in Josstice League, not because the theme is bad per se, but it doesn't fit Batfleck. Danny Elfman's theme belongs to Michael Keaton and Michael Keaton alone.
The Multiplicity talk totally confirms the rumors that Barry would be facing evil Barry in this
Keatons Back as The Batman as i knew he would someday. 😃😀👍
Multiplicity was hilarious. Freaking so underrated. Thanks mr. Keaton.
I love the face expression Michael makes when Jake say he was his hero growing. It’s like he’s saying “Why? Ok then.” 0:24 😂😂
You interview with class Jake, it's lovely to see, you're so respectful. Micheal Keaton seems such a great guy as well, be great to see both him and Ben Affleck reprise their roles as 'The Bat'. Great channel man, keep it going.

Jake, you're an absolute pro. Your questions are always so thoughtful and well considered.
Michael Keaton is one of those rare actors where I enjoy every single film I've seen him in.
Keaton is the best Batman ever. “Who are you?” “ I am Batman!”
Really ,rip from brazil
But he wasn't dark even he smiled while wearing Batman suits I don't know why people call him best
He definitely is, he set the standard for the character, every actor who puts on the cowl I think back to Keaton and do a little comparison.
@@thomaswelbourn55 but he wasn't dark and even smiled while being Batman something Batman doesn't

I was born In 1984. So micheal keaton was the batman when I was growing up. I saw him in the movie batman and batman returns with my parents. I even had a batman themed birthday party one year.
I remember back when Michael Keaton was picked to be Batman. You mean "Night Shift and Mr. Mom Michael Keaton? No way!"
Boy, was I wrong! He nailed the part in both Batman movies! And, what a great multi faceted actor he still is!
I thought the same thing. I liked him as an actor but I didn't think he was "Batman material". I was wrong too! He's my favorite Batman.
Jake you do a great job interviewing! You’re a fan and a gentleman and you blend your questions with your awe in such a way that you draw us into the conversation as if we asked the question and your guest is always engaged from the thought provoking questions you ask them about themselves. You heard it here first, folks: Michael Keaton confirms that Ezra Miller plays with himself in the upcoming The Flash movie.
Well that can mean a lot of different things😂
@@srayanjacobs6530 Well he was actually unintentionally letting out a potential spoiler, since the villain of the movie is Dark Flash, and I don’t think that’s supposed to be widely known at this point. Hence Ezra Miller playing OPPOSITE and OFF OF himself.
But that’s clearly not what my post was referring to lol.
@@What.99 Dark Flash!? So they're not gonna show Reverse Flash huh!?🙄 Reverse Flash is such a cool villian. I wanted Matthew McConaughey to play him
@@srayanjacobs6530 No, unfortunately not. They’ve chosen to go the more confusing and possibly unintentionally-hilarious route, with one Flash potentially being evil. I say “potentially” because I’ve seen photos of Ezra in street-clothes with the stand-in for Dark Flash, meaning Barry doesn’t know that the other version might be evil, also meaning that it’s supposed to be some giant reveal later in the movie, at least to Barry. I’m sure they’ll show it in the trailer, especially if he’s the only/main villain in the movie.
If it turns out that this “reveal” was meant to be a complete surprise to moviegoers and is therefore not shown in the trailer, I’m sorry that I spoiled it for you, even though I was just clarifying what Michael Keaton was talking about.
There’s also the very slim possibility that that guy really is a completely different character and not going to be (potentially hilariously) CGI’d over (Superman’s mustache lol) with Ezra Miller’s face, but I doubt it. But if I am wrong, then I’m sorry for misinforming you.
@@What.99 I just hope I get to see some other Justice league members or even Suicide Squad members(I know it's too much to ask) ...but I've read the Flashpoint comics. There's no fun if they don't show a multiple other heroes as well. Andy Muschietti did say in DC Fandome that The Flash will introduce the line up for Justice League 2... let's see what happens now...and I'll surely jump Outta my seat if I get to see Grant Gustin appear in the same cameo we saw in Crisis last year❤️
