i think everything that spices up the game is good.
(augments are the best example for it,
even thou some people still don't like them, since they would prefer to build the one best comp every game to win. but augment rng hinders them)
encounters that actually do something are great. buff your X-Costs unit for the game. giving items to every one (tahm pool, or extra carousel items) are nice. like augments you can adjust your build around it a little.
the temporary or useless ones (Sett...) just feel like a disappointment every time.

Encounters definitely feel less fun since all the fun encounters got removed from the game but it wasn't bad

Overall I'm a big fan of encounters, I think the only one I dislike is the Ashe one, positioning every round gets tiring and unlucky enough I've been getting it really often

Last game played 5 exalted 6 dryad but lost to storied Garen and Neeko both players got 3 star, the garen stacked 35k hp in a fight against my comp 😵💫

It hasn't been my least favorite set mechanic, but I certainly have not been a fan of encounters at all. A lot of them feel very 'whatever', a few actively make me upset like the ashe one (I know that's me being lazy for not wanting to scout but I just wanna chill and enjoy my game) or getting the ornn or wukong items for a round where none of the items received fit units that need items. It's like, I didn't get to make any choices, I just get to lose a round for free cause of an encounter.
Hero augments are cool but i genuinely never see them. Its probably just bad luck on my part but i can count on one hand how many times i've seen Ethereal blades. Never even seen Garens.

The lesson this game: get prismatic ticket which is broken and win lol.. seen that top 2 in so many games recently.. low cost rerolls are busted with it. Meanwhile Lillia and Ashe are unplayabe because of contest.

Morts negativity against his own community reflects poorly on him and the game
idk how they achieve their metrics about encounters at least ive never witnessed any survey by riot.
For me encounters are either redundant (sett makes you bigger) and feel like a waste of time/ riot doesnt respect their players time and others just enhance rng (item cashouts/dupes/5cost carousel/etc). Augments were such a great addition because it gives the player agency and a way to diminish/influence the rng factor encounters just dont do that.
They happen and theres nothing you can do about someone getting the best 5cost in the game in an early carousel while ur stuck with the worst that loses to a 3cost or the reroller getting a small dupe bcs of encounter while ur pushing lvl9 not playing a single 3,2,1 cost
tft needs to be separate game, i hate
League for keep saying i need to keep restart my pc, to load the client. To log in i also hate vanguard cannot log in no matter what i do.

I cannot play with updates because i cannot log on pc client no matter how many times i reinstall league. To hell with riot and vanguard.
