@keyzest8823 Normally shows like this are straightforward: 1. Perfect wife 2. Insufferable husband 3. Annoying mistress But then the showrunners chose to subvert tropes. Ning Yue has flaws of her own even though the story tends to gloss over them 'cause we're watching her POV. Hu Cheng and Qui Zi are sympathetic characters etc. A story could be told where they all get their happy endings is all I'm saying. Sadly, I bet we don't get that😓 Poor Qiu Zi deserves happiness🤧😭😭😭 Hire me for the reboot, Tencent!
