I love to see that cow follow him around like that! He must give off good cow vibes and she can sense that he is a good guy! I wish I could know what her thoughts are... like does she love him like he's her mother? or a boyfriend? She definitely loves him, that's for sure! That is cool! I would like to see more of Dima's pet cow. She a beauty almost solid white She was even grooming him. Please show any more tame cows. I bet Dima may have something to say when she has to leave the farm. He may not let you get rid of her. Her fitness tracker must go off the charts following him around.
He has a pet for sure. When I worked on a farm as a youth cleaning up manure, feeding and scrubbing things I spent a lot of time with the animals. If you show interest in them as you work they will bond with you. Keep doing this you are like family to them. I named a Pig Barney after the Flintstones character. Every night at 5. Pm I gave him a hug before boarding the work bus to go home. I loved that job. Farming is so rewarding. 🤗🤗🤗

When I was a kid in the 70s on our dairy farm dad used to put a house brick on the milkers instead of having to hold it for the whole milk with those slow milkers, just a tip that might work for you.
Next time you have to grind concrete, there are special tools for that, will make it go easier, and consumes less time. Diamond tipped grinding disc. They can be pretty costy, but theyvare durable and can be installed in any angle grinder. Usually meant for purposed angle grinder with a vacuum attachment built in because it's really dusty work, even with a vacuum attached.
Mount bars on the concrete walls above the water troughs so that can’t get there legs in there. I live on a dairy in Western Washington and we have them on all our water troughs it works very well.
Any animal will tell you who is a good caretaker and who isn't, good on you Dima, sorry if I spelled the name wrong, as for you Jan you should have the whole herd after you lol
Cleaning up water troughs and grinding concrete! Would be great to hear how Saskatchewan area farm financing is viewed by the institutional investment community in that Provnce. Here in Alberta the rule of thumb for farmers was that only dairy and chicken related farming practices were provided with Asset to Debt ratio of 100% financing, whilst other farming operations are on a sliding scale downwards dependant on their proximity to the consumers wallet (so to speak bluntly).
It's good to have a 1500 pound friend! That concrete grinding would go a ton better with a diamond wheel from the big box store or amazon. It will cut though so much faster, you will wonder how you ever did without it. No kidding. They are not nearly as expensive as one might think.

Watching your videos has made us realize how curious cows are. Whatever you do or whenever you put the camera down they come over to see what's going on. They really have personalities don't they. We get a lot of laughs from watching you interact with them.
