This is my most favorite palette so far this year…. and that’s coming from someone who decluttered all all my large palettes including Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona. The powders are so easy to blend and the textures are really good on my mature lids. I find it easy and quick to create many different looks- they never look muddy or heavy. I think I’ve already used and loved every color.

I just got my hands on this palette and I’m loving it, something about it is pushing me towards being more creative with my eyes. I also found a video of the makeup artist saying that theyre water activated, and tried that &WOW they’re just so beautiful!

Hi Lexi- you really have spectacular swatches!! Looking forward to getting mine. A lot of subtle nuances in this palette.. looks really beautiful. I tried Dysco thinking it would be my favorite palette,last year.. but it didn’t look good on my mature eyelids.. I was really surprised and disappointed. So I guess I’m glad that you’re saying the formula is different than the clamshell palettes! Although I have to ask, if I didn’t like the Dysco formula on my eyes, I hope I’ll like this one!😂😵💫
Hi Laura! Thank you so much - I think this formula is more traditional than the clamshell palettes so I think you may like this one better. I'm sorry Dysco didn't work out for you. Do you still have it or did you return it? I'm just asking because I was wondering if you tried a brush shaped more like the Byredo brushes. They seem to make a big difference for me.

You are so thorough, Lexi, such great swatch comparisons. I don’t think you have it but I wonder how some of these compare to the ND Bronze pallet. I had to return that because everything looked the same on my skin tone. I like that this is a neutral warm pallet but Dysco is gorgeous too. I need a warm pallet so now I have to decide. I’ll have to rewatch your Dysco video to decide. Thank you!
Thank you Maria! I don't have the ND Bronze palette. I really like both Byredo palettes and this is technically a better value for the amount of product but I would personally choose the Dysco palette.

First to comment! Wow!!!! Phenomenal review Lexi! I really enjoyed the looks you’ve created. I’m curious why you haven’t used the byredo brushes as much with this palette? I’m curious to know how they play together … plenty of RUclipsrs have previously mentioned that byredo shadows were created with the thought of using my fingers. Not my fave way of applying BUT seeing how the darker shades packed SUCH a punch when you used your finger - I think there is clearly a huge diversity in looks that emanates even from mode of application. I just ordered mine from Selfridges. CAN’T WAIT❤️❤️❤️ Thank you 🙏🏻
I have tried the Byredo brushes a little with this palette but honestly they were dirty when I was filming. The shadows in this bigger palette are more traditional in formula so the Byredo brushes work fine with these but so do other brushes. In contrast, the Byredo nugget palettes work much better with the Byredo brushes than they do with other brushes. I will film some more looks with this palette and use the Byredo brushes. I hope you love the palette!!!

WOW your swatch comparisons were amazing, ty!! I love the color story of corporate colors the most but it sounds like the formula is less ideal? The shimmers performed well when i swatched them but I remember the matte brown feeling a little dry. Price-wise it’s hard for me to splurge on one yet, esp when this palette has so many shades for a little more 🤣. At first this color story appealed to me less (similar looking shades, warmer/desert vibes whereas I prefer neutral to cool or interesting flips etc) but seeing how the colors melt into each other makes it look really fun to play with. I’m impressed by how some colors lay on top of another shade too and remaining super vibrant. Btw beautopsy being on sale today and these ltd ed releases I’m having a hard time deciding 😂 I didn’t know winter boots had a flip so now I’m curious about that one too! I think when you have an extensive shadow collection it becomes more about formula and/or unique color stories.

I feel that the ones that are truly worth getting are Metal Boots, Dysco, and Sciomancer as they have the best formula but they are definitely not as good of a value as something like this palette. @@LexiJong i will def check those little palettes out! i’m lucky to have a Byredo nearby me. i was sooo close to getting beautopsy on sale but i am more excited about colors/iridescence i don’t have yet, even over formula, so i held off. 😅 and you’re right! there’s always so much coming in the beauty world and i’m still catching up from last year’s releases that i’m trying to pick my favs. my #1 palette i’m excited to get still is rose quartz. i’m also excited to see how ND’s pastel palette performs. although i won’t be able to wear darker mattes quite as often, i think glaminiatrix’ nocturnal palette is stunning. i don’t have any indie shadows yet or singles and that’s where a lot of the shine seems to be 🤩
Oh no! Bloomingdale's still had it this morning when I posted but it looks like it is gone already. I think it will be back but I can't say for sure. The Prismic palette restocked a few times so I think this one will too. I will definitely post when I see it again.
I understand. I actually love the lighter shades and then the deeper ones as a liner. There are so many palette options out there, get the ones you really can't stop thinking about.
