The bucks winning the finals in both conferences reminds me of the Astros being the only team to play in the World Series in both the national league and the American League
In TIm Duncan’s career, the Spurs had the highest winning percentage of any major league North American, team. Even higher than the Patriots. In their 50 year history, the Spurs have missed the playoffs 8 times, half off them coming in the last 4 seasons. They made the playoffs 22 straight years. Knowing all of that, it actually makes sense. But nine straight 0-82 seasons to drop to .500 is still crazy.
Here is a fun fuct abot the lakers: They are the only nba team to make the finals in each decade since the nba existed: 1949, 1950, 1969, 1972, 1987, 1991, 2000, 2010 and 2020
The Spurs and Nuggets both won their franchise's first championship over an 8 seed, they both did it in 5 games after sweeping their opponent in the conference finals.
It makes sense the Kings have most relocations and name changes, since they are the oldest franchise in the NBA (starting over 20 before the NBA started).
Another interesting fact about the spurs. The Spurs franchise has the most players who got quadruple doubles in nba history. They have 3. The only other one was the rockets
The amount of sad facts involving the ineptitude of the hornets is astounding!! 😂. At least tickets to the games are still super cheap when they aren’t playing a premium team.
It’s an iconic logo regardless and the man who created it should’ve been paid. Michael Jordan could’ve never existed and the franchise valuation would still be a billion dollars because thats the valuation of the shittiest most irrelevant teams in the NBA. Pay people for their work
@@2FadeMusic that's not right at all, it became an icon around the world because of MJ, if it wasn't for him and the 90s bulls it would probably have been changed a long time ago like all the other nba logos.
The Spurs were once in the Eastern conference. Weird things happen. The NBA should add 2 more teams in Seattle and Vegas and put the Grizzlies in the East.
Am I missing something with the clippers fact? Did he say that lakers have playred every other team in the playoffs bar the clippers? I mean there is no way they have played all eastern conference teams in the playoffs?
Okay, so, no, the Warriors effectively won in both Eastern and Western Conference. The "Divisions" were what conferences were called before the 1970s, when expansion meant reorganization of the league. Playoff brackets were split into the two divisions, and the two division champions (East and West) were the teams that contested the NBA finals. So the Warriors clearly count, and any supposition otherwise is just saying "well, the league was smaller, so they don't count." Not a compelling reason.
What do you mean the Philadelphia Warriors weren't in the East? Are you saying because there was a limited amount of teams it was one conference? That seems like cheap semantics lol.
im glad mark cuban broke the record for most sold out games he deserves it thats all he wanted was to make dallas fans happy and excited enough to come support their team
started in vancouver and it wasnt changed because it would have made an uneven number of conferences....also memphis is basically on the mississippi river and by traditional standards....the mississippi river is the dividing line of east and west so its just west enough to continue to be a western conference team....this is also why the pels and wolves remain western

The ALMIGHTY San Antonio Spurs 🙏
In the Part 2, re: Toronto Huskies... They were actually the first team to host an NBA game (vs. the Knickerbockers of "Smelly Toronto.")
Some flaws:
2:02 Portland is the most western team. Not Golden state.
7:20 Timberwolves are the 2nd most northen team. Not Raptors.
