I mean he recommended an Apple 4k box over an Onn and Nvidia Shield which is a pretty big blunder. I respect him a creator, but he doesn't always make the best suggestions. It makes sense though, his job is more of an entertainer based around tech rather than being a tech person.
55 euros? In romania, it is only 5... 10 at most. If you are fancy / oldschool (you actually call people abroad without zoom etc, lol), that goes up to 30 euros. Germany should really adjust their prices.
@mineralwasser6888 That's the thing, you don't. Publishers and distributors came out and said that you don't actually own that game even if you paid for it, and we can revoke the license anytime we want. They were like, it's more like a renting than buying.

I used to work for a service provider and if people were threatening to leave us, we HAD to try and convince them to stay. Usually it was a "small" discount for like 3 months, then 6 months, depending on the situation and person, we could even offer them an entirely new plan that was cheap but it wasn't available to normal customers anymore. On the other hand: it wasn't done for everyone. If you already had gotten like 5 discounts, there was no point in trying to win you back and we'd let you go

Now you’re saying that workers dependent on the customers not on company? Ridiculous I mean I have no doubt its true, but its not my problem as a customer who want to get cheaper price, its the problem of company who doesn’t want to pay and just eager to raise their earnings
@CreiziKiwiI agree with you no doubt however it’s partly dependent on the customer this is because part of their commission is to hit their KPIs. Again I do not agree with this method from companies but this is happening everyday.
@CreiziKiwi It seems like nowadays most people are paid by the hour rather than a per-item/service commission. This has made lazy workers who do the bare minimum and can't improve their situation. There's nothing wrong with being paid based on how good of a job you do and how hard you work. Workers being dependent on the customers rather than the company is not ridiculous at all (and quite common throughout all of history).
Watching this hoping it would save me money. After 14:50 minutes I have 4 more subscriptions and 3 premium accounts which I'm not able to share due to a lack of friend and family 😅
I always ask myself: A) Do I need it? B) Do I want it? b1) What will I do with it? Consume, display, use b2) Will it end up in a box and forgotten or tossed? b3) Do I have room for it? Asking myself questions keeps my money in my pocket.
One way to stop impulse buying is NOT connecting your bank account to the store page. since you are then forced to do a 2ND step filling in your details you are starting to think DO I really need it? And that stops 99% of all impulse buys.
There is also that tips to wait 2/4 months, if you still think about it and still think it would have help, be useful, annoyed by the one you want to upgrade, then it's worth purchasing
Do not buy yearly streaming subscription plans. If you want to watch a show, wait for all the episodes to air and then buy a monthly subscription when you know you'll have time to watch and binge it.
@pnss3569 ... or who work enough to still be able to enjoy it - and have enough life and means to enjoy the rest of their time - not glued to a screen ;) To each their own I guess.
I mean it's a monthly subscription right so u don't need to binge it in a day or a week or something if u want to see the show and buy a monthly subscription u have time for an entire month instead of wasting a yearly subscription and not use even a single months worth out of it either way op's comment is sensible
This is very good information and one of the reasons why i trust your videos. Everybody thinks that something good comes with a hefty price and it usually does people forget to realize that there are old school methods and bargaining tactics and workarounds that can help. People have become so comfortable with being overcharged that they forget that they CAN and SHOULD if possible bargain and questions and exploit legal loopholes that haven't been patched yet!
4:50 - If your old ANDROID tv feels sluggish there are a lot of quick ways to remove the overhead without spending a dime. Best one is to just disable Google home & install a lightweight launcher - no curated content - no ads just the apps in your specified order & no slowness.
been doing this for my family since i was a kid (mobile plans, tv boxes back then) now same but with subscriptions etc. cool that u educate People about it!!
One thing to keep in mind about doing it to a phone contract or Internet contract is make sure your close to the end of your contract. If they dont give you a deal better then the other cheaper contracts then you may have to leave them to get the better deal and if you do it mid contract, you will have to pay a base rate for the rest fo the months you were with them. So do it toward the end, when they know you can just leave them and switch over without paying them any cash amount to do so.
Better yet, get prepaid and don't sign a contract. At least, that's the route I've taken as an American. I pay a flat $30 a month for unlimited talk, text and 5G's of data, which is more than I use in a month since I'm always around wifi. I'm sure there's even cheaper plans out there, but I don't mind my current one at the moment.
The savings dip significanly when you cancel a wife. Spend whatever money it takes to find a lawyer that will make sure you don't pay alimony. My last one paid ME alimony for 2 years!
Man the quality of your videos is crazy nowadays. I have been watching you since you had 500k subs and the change of quality is diabolical .You are a big inspiration to many. Love your vids. May god bless you with more success.
A large portion of his audience is American, that's why his content is usually tailored towards Americans, such as constantly showing prices in dollars, and obviously with this tip
You can't really tell people to "just turn off the switch" because that's too specific and local to his country where his vast majority of audience aren't from.
When building new house you can have the sockets tied to a switch, so when you go out, you can turn everything off. We have that at work, the switch below the light switch, turns off the wall sockets. Only use them for floor lamps, and charging phones.
No way Mrwhosetheboss just went from being Mrbeast of tech to actually being a lifesaver! Perfect Timing for because I was about to buy a monthly pack from NowTV Looking Forward To A follow up video to this series!!
I just really love that Arun talks about tech but still thinks about normal people and how inconvenient for the average user certain mechanisms in the tech field have become . Thank you man!
i had some complication with the connection of bank account and netflix, called support to have it fixed so they can take my money again. after looking into it for like 1 minute the dude on the phone dead ass suggested to me to just buy those code cards to load them up to my account...instead of fixing the problem and getting money each month wether i watch or not. they dont need you as a customer, they seem to have enough
2:15 You can also get an 8TB WD SN850X NVME drive for $600 with a UGREEN thunderbolt 5 NVME enclosure for $300 to get the faster 8TB storage (upto 7GB/s vs 6GB/s) for $900
8:22 woah this is a horrible sentiment!!!! shoutout to all the consumer rights activists like louis rossman fighting for customers to actually OWN and keep what we BUY!!!!
A few of these are not good advice. For example he didn't include the subscription with the apple tv thing. Using apps for everything instead of the browser is a security issue and you have to be vigilant about background data (there's a reason websites push SO HARD to get you to use their apps, but also who doesn't have unlimited data plans these days anyway). Trade-in is pretty good for apple but not at all for android. Chances are if your android phone is new enough to have any meaningful trade-in value, you don't need a new phone. But the games one is egregious.
@ArtfulMaverick what is the point of owning tv series or movie that you wouldn't rewatch later? Or game that you wouldn't replay? And with subscription you still have possibility to replay/rewatch for 80-90% of content for fraction of a cost to own. I pirate my movies and immediately delete them after watching and my only media subscription is ps+, which gives me year of access to loads of good games for a price of one new game.
@1:36 maybe in the UK. Where I used to live, the service providers simply just couldn't care less. Newcomers get better offers off the bat so it was more beneficial to just cancel the commitment and get a new one, because the representatives "couldn't" offer you anything better (or comparable). Where I live now, it's similar. Beginning this year I informed my provider I will not be continuing the subscription and be transfering my phone number to other one. Not a single ***** was given :D
He does it all the time bro. If you pay attention. He always makes it clear when you shouldn't get something, and only get it if you really need it or you have more than enough money
He has the money bruv, he can still buy a high performance car and still get a 80k speaker at the same time. He is literally a tech enthusiast, buying the most absurd techs is nothing to him. @ChR0nos_7734
the family pack subscription is a deal in my country, subscribers often sell their login code to other people for a fraction of profit and literally they pay the service for free, usually on streaming and games services.
@TherealClueLess-j7r its illegal but it is what it is, instead of getting stressed, why not help brother out to get to 200 subs, its at least way more beneficial than companies caring about user experience rather than money
I work at spectrum here in the States and we have the same thing. We offer certain customers specific deals and discounts to either buy them back or keep them
My saving setup: Movies: Barely watch them so no subscription Music: YT download / bandcamp / occasional streaming service subscription Games: Steam sale games + free epic games Phone: 1-year old midrange is the way to go TV: Hell no, not when they constantly spy on you ... Motorcycle: Where all those savings end up being burned on
I have unlimited 5G almost everywhere I go. except inside my house. Thankfully, I have Wi-Fi at home, which is also essentially unlimited since the data cap is in terabytes, and I’ll probably never reach it. Gotta love Jio!
same with insurance companies - but must tell them at renewal time that you have got quotes and if they ask where from - list the competitive companies and then you'll know which company you need to get a quote from for the insurance company to price match their quote.
He has a lot of money but I love how he takes his time to get all his things in the best, most convenient and cost effective way possible, like a real boss😎😎😎
we had almost none of this in our childhoods/teenages in 2005-2015 and yet we survuved we were up to date with trends had friends enjoyed and did everything we did that we do tday with ease and *purpose*
A usb hdd or even ssd is not the same as an internal ssd. Apple overcharge but comparing it to usb drives is like saying i dont want a sports car because a fiat cinco is cheaper
@StickyxFinga Up to 1 gb/s ssd for 1/10 of a price is MORE than enough. Like sportcars, that useless anywhere besides race tracks, when you could buy a decent car for 1/100 of a price and have 99% of practical application
@StickyxFingasure what you’re saying is true but I don’t think most people need more than 1TB of super fast storage. You could also buy external ssd storages which are extremely fast (not as fast as an internal one because of latency but still good enough for most things)
@StickyxFingaI feel like this is a situation where, if you need the extra overhead and speeds that having the memory on board does, you would know. for the vast majority of people, the solution presented in this video and the money savings you get from it probably fit their needs better. sure, no one would say no to the sports car, but not everyone needs one
Ive done this for all my credit cards. Retention team calls back after receiving a card cancellation request and end up converting your premium card to a Lifetime free credit card along with reversal of any annual charges you've paid.
@I_billed_that_beard_guyYou do realize every transaction you have used on a credit card 3% of that money goes to the company? Y’all are 🐑😂 and being used.
@AGXJDM dude If I am getting benefits like cashback or other rewards on spending the same amount of money which I used to spend earlier with my debit card then how am I being used? I don't care about their internal commission if I am getting benefits
This trick at 2:10 about external SSD only partially works. You will still have problems with reading speed, and things like games become worse to play. So while you can do this and it will be a lot cheaper, it's not something i can recommend as someone who had a first hand experience. What i can recommend tho, is to buy a laptop from any other company, they will be cheaper than apple's for the same perks
5:30 I have been giving this same idea to all my friends and family, but people always want the more shinier newer thing🤷🏻 I guess I just can't help all of them. Some listen and thank me 😂.
In relation to eBay around 11:00 they have changed how ebay works, so you will get the full amount you sell it for, and shipping the buyer pays or you can set it up so you pay, either way you don't lose money to eBay now. eBay now charge the buyer and not the seller. So the seller makes all of the money as it's free to sell on eBay now.
my provider actually allows me to set the data cap the whole "charge people big money if they run out of data" thing can be opted out of in some countries it now just cuts the internet if I run out instead
6:44 now, the problem with that is, we are buying not the game but part ownership to play the game. We don’t own the actual game. If the user tries to do anything “illegal “, which means things that they don’t like. They can take back the games😂
This has been the case for digital games for years, it's literally impossible to 'own' a digital game without just sending you the file (obvious piracy concerns there)
@SSukram_The main issue is that now, in the agreement it will be stated that they can take it back , whenever they think u have done smth wrong. I’m not not talking about others, just Nintendo.
@originalmofo229Yea, I would be suing them or wouldn’t like it.The pirating or others stuff have been done for years, and yet they still have their fan base. But not only making the new Nintendo switch stupidity expensive. I guess people are still gonna buy it😂
1. External SSD is smart, sticking it to the back of your laptop is dumb. It will damage your laptop's hinge over time because it's built specifically to hold the weight of the screen. 2. Subscribing to one streaming service per month will save you more money than subscribing to three with a bundle. Unless you're unemployed, you're not gonna enjoy all of them to the fullest anyway.
Electronics in EU rarely drop a lot in price when the new version is out. Basically what happens is new version is more expensive and old stays at same price for at least 3-4 years. And for phones... best way to save is not to buy an old flagship but rather to keep using the working phone you already have.
I think this one of the reasons is why people stick to their phones longer than people from outside the EU. Also if you save up money and buy a flagship it pretty much can last up to 5-7 or more years (depends on how you treat it)
It's so nice to buy a flagship and then keep it for a while. I had my Samsung s8 for 5 years then upgraded to my s22 Ultra that I'll also be keeping. The upgrades became bigger, you save money and you can really get used to the phone. And 3 years goes quickly so honestly the s22 still feels kinda new
7:00 in our country no one pays for single player games on playstation , people either jailbreak their console or login on a account that has that game , download the game , make the console offline and then logs out from that account from other devices like pc , this way unlimited number of users can use a single account until they dont turn the console online
I’m glad that you’re making videos like these, especially as a tech reviewer. Overconsumption is a serious issue and people need to be more aware of their spending habits and say no to things they don’t actually need it
This whole video is still about spending money though. Not once does he say “your local library probably has a free streaming service for movies shows music and obviously books to rent with a lot of current and top tier content”, he doesn’t say “rent physical media from your local library for free”, he doesn’t say use free and for sale groups, he doesn’t talk about mutual aid in your communities, he doesn’t talk about abstaining from things you don’t need, he doesn’t talk about emulating old games instead of game pass, he doesn’t talk about playing games you already own in your backlog you haven’t completed. He doesn’t talk about cooking instead of uber eats, or physically picking up your takeout. He doesn’t talk about abstaining from Amazon, or streaming services. His whole channel is about buying crap you don’t need. This video is really not great at its own thesis.
@coleydotmp4 I thought it was strange how he was arguing for nintendo/xbox/playstation's digital game sharing techniques instead of advocating for people to just buy pre-owned games on ebay or at a local shop (if applicable). A big reason why digital games are being pushed so hard is so that companies don't lose out on potential purchases lost to game sharing/pre-owned games market. Also, I think I'd rather have $230 in my pocket than $250 that I can only spend at one company (that isn't amazon, I guess).
@coleydotmp4 But he does talk about saving money. Stop being pedantic asf, his audience are literally geared towards consumption he's a tech channel ffs.
@roadkill1172 Saving money doesn't mean buying things. There are arguably a few actual tips here, but most of the advice is to buy a new thing. And no, it's not pedantic, and no, just because he is a tech channel doesn't mean he can fail his own video's mission - if he can't make a video without telling you to buy things the whole time, then he shouldn't make a video about saving money. Just like tech reviewers reviewing dumb phones. if they cant comprehend the mission at hand then stop making waste of time videos.
@coleydotmp4 Yeah waste of time videos, that's why there are so many appreciative comments and this video is doing well. It is about saving money because he is discussing tech products that people will / strongly consider to buy anyway, and how to do this in a money-efficient way. Not to mention that there are some more generally applicable savings tips like having your phone provider cutting monthly bills by threatening to cancel. I don't see how you get to decide the mission of his video, he was successful in his mission to me because I took away some useful tips. You can still save money whilst spending money, that's just being efficient.
Honestly, the phone charger is just such an overpriced item from the companies. I use a $15 charger and it works just as good and that too with a 5ft long braided cable.
@marknikitin7257 I don't know what you are talking about, I have been using the charger for almost 5 years and changed 2 phones yet its still not causing any problems.
As long as its a reputable brand (anker as shown in video is a great brand tbh at reasonable prices) a cheaper charger is fine. I wouldnt buy a 65w charger off ali express though
bro just recommends $15 aliexpress charger that can set ur house on fire. thx! gonna buy the $9,99 aliexpress 150w charger. surely everything gonna be fine
Very different kind of video that I've never really made before, but if this actually saves you money (which I think it has a pretty good chance of doing), then please let me know and I'll work on an episode 2! 😊
Hello
Seems very useful, please make more 🔥
Yeah good episode bro
saves*
😊😊😊
I saved alot more than that by not buying anything at all
Brahhhh
Lol
😂
I save 100% by sailing the seas.
True😂
You know the economy is bad when a multi-millionaire youtuber is telling you how to save money and the stuff he says actually works
dude.... he bargained a 11 dollars phone bill....TF!!!
I mean he recommended an Apple 4k box over an Onn and Nvidia Shield which is a pretty big blunder. I respect him a creator, but he doesn't always make the best suggestions. It makes sense though, his job is more of an entertainer based around tech rather than being a tech person.
@imnotyou23 For an average person, apple tv does make more sense tbh. Also Nvidia shield is very much slow compared to apple silicon
@prayagkrishna I own both. Nvidia Shield works better. Average person is better off using the Onn which is $20.
Works? I heard just "buy! BUY!" calls. Savings he says rofl
2:58 the bar is too high on this one, it requires friends
he didn’t say you can use websites like together price
The 6 persons will not be friends after a few months because of money problems.
@rendezvous009😂😂😂
There used to a website where people would pool together and buy a family plan and share it between themselves
I wonder if it's still a thing.
@cpstest_yt cant escape bro in comment sections both tt and yt
1:40 i did the same to the german vodafone. I paid almost 55€/m for Internet but after "threating" to leave i got a 15€ discount
Still to much hahahha
man, internet everywhere else is so damn expensive.
I pay 16,50 per month, basically the cheapest service in LT
55 euros? In romania, it is only 5... 10 at most. If you are fancy / oldschool (you actually call people abroad without zoom etc, lol), that goes up to 30 euros. Germany should really adjust their prices.
You can also save a lot by sailing the seven seas
Lame
@AYUSH_ANKIT not lame
@AYUSH_ANKIT "lame, i'm going to let people steal my money instead"????
@TotallyNotSammJust entitled.
@wyterabitt2149 piracy is not about entitlement, it's about sharing
10:25 ngl, someone will get flashback seeing a "h" letter with an orange background
😭😭😭bruh I got a flashback 🤣🤣I thought it was honey 🤣🙆🏻♂️I thought they were back 🤣
Yeah. Had a heart attack.
honestly same lol
surprisingly, there are creators that STILL take Honey sponsorships
@sullenscr um who exactly?
Bro might not be here tomorrow after sharing all this 😂
lol
lmao 🤣🤣
Real talk😂
But he didnt say something illegal. These are completely legal but hidden very well.
i know i might sound crazy but if you like football then I think you would love my content, pls help your brother out.
8:24 or pirate it. If buying isn't owning, downloading isn't stealing.
Correct
May the high seas favour us.
On console you still can buy though.
I mean, if you buy a game, you own the license to that game so yes, it's still stealing
@mineralwasser6888 That's the thing, you don't. Publishers and distributors came out and said that you don't actually own that game even if you paid for it, and we can revoke the license anytime we want. They were like, it's more like a renting than buying.
I want a part two, I NEED A PART 2
Before that check out my 10/10 content. If you like it, tell me

6 months saved 😂
What's stopping you from having 12 and getting a year free?
@TheRoccoRockz I just create new ones when I run out of emails 😂
@S.Stephen.95 same card all the time
@S.Stephen.95 Most cards allow you to create temporary or one time use numbers.
I don’t think theres technically anything stopping you from doing this infinitely. Services like Firefox Relay would also make that pretty easy
bro wasted 1000 dollars in Kickstarter and is now making a video of him saving 5000
He didn’t waste money bcs he made money from that vid
@BHG-broit’s a joke yo 😂
@eijasameen6589 my bad I guess 😂
how about the 80k for speakers in his living room
You forgot a zero 😁
He finally understood the word "jugaad"

Well, that's exactly what I still do as an adult xD
Since the Fold came out with Samsung and iPhones got 4 total cameras, I knew there was no reason to get a new phone other than the need for more storage on the phone itself.
@Tifo337 LG products from 2-3 years ago. My G915 keyboard was solid (other than the keycaps), and 2 months into the G915X and I'm still getting ghosting when typing or hitting the wrong button while gaming making me throw a lethal/tactical when i really wanted to just reload or plate up
This is the way.
Bring back passionfruit they never lie to their customers

The high seas never ask for money
sailing the sea saves you at least 10k on top of the 5k you saved in the vid 😂- from the at least 15k monthly you'd have to spend on all the non-essential stuff lol
You're really paying for the convenience when you pay though
And My ISP wondering how I ended up in Singapore in 0.2 seconds
@Magst3r1 it's so easy these days
Arrr matey!
My saving setup:
Games : pirated
Movies & series: pirated
Phone : 6yo used flagship (with custom ROM)
Tv: no tv
Amazon: buying from AliExpress
Girlfriend: no girlfriend (too expensive)
TVs are cheap these days. I got mine for less than 300$ and I used it a s a glorified big monitor, hooked to my second PC.
what's the best custom ROM to start with in your opinion?
Wow, maybe try not doing that? GF too expensive? Serious incel energy.
@iseptimus dude it's not that serious 😂
Like look at the cost of living crisis in the countries having a girlfriend is indeed expensive😂 and there's nothing so called incel about😂
Now people are just using the incel word for shaming i guess@iseptimus

@cybertonto72 Nope! You won't be able to guess it either unless you live in my corner of Europe lol
@YukikoEx Delta ?
11:30 omg Apple tradein prices are ASS 😭
Speaking as someone who worked for Vodafone.
PAC Codes are part of the KPI’s (retention rate). The fact that you ask for your PAC code will harm the advisors stats (which is fine) will pressure the advisor to give you a higher discount.
Great strat
I spent the last 15 years with vodafone..this time they wouldnt give a deal so I asked for my pac code.. they did nothing and I left for Lebara for 1 3rd the monthly cost and its uses Vodafone network lol.. I've seen sellers buy these family accounts and sell individually for cheap
I though bro was about to say honey 😭😭😭 10:24
was thinking about the same😂
Dude did his maths
This is literally the type of video which you used to make a couple years ago and THANK You for bringing them back. Fearless and direct!!
And every time a video like this was made, the subscription prices went sky high...
he sold out!
@OnlyInAfrikanah, he got rich 🤑
Love it - just done the Now TV tip and saved £102 over the next 6 months. Thanks Arun!
and how long is your new contract?
Don't you mean dollars? Apparently the UK uses USD now according to Arun.
If you want to save money just get a dodgey box and you’ll save way more
What a save happy for you mate! Was about the same for myself 😊
@KLC6432 He does that to cater to both audiences i guess. Makes sense i suppose 👌
I always ask myself:
A) Do I need it?
B) Do I want it?
b1) What will I do with it? Consume, display, use
b2) Will it end up in a box and forgotten or tossed?
b3) Do I have room for it?
Asking myself questions keeps my money in my pocket.
Exactly
One way to stop impulse buying is NOT connecting your bank account to the store page.
since you are then forced to do a 2ND step filling in your details you are starting to think DO I really need it?
And that stops 99% of all impulse buys.
I only ask one question, is there a mod version available out there?🗿
Yeah
There is also that tips to wait 2/4 months, if you still think about it and still think it would have help, be useful, annoyed by the one you want to upgrade, then it's worth purchasing
Recently Netflix has increased the prices in my country and they dont even have a y retention offers when you click cancel.
Do not buy yearly streaming subscription plans. If you want to watch a show, wait for all the episodes to air and then buy a monthly subscription when you know you'll have time to watch and binge it.
What if you hate binging - or just have a life and thus don't want to spend whole days watching TV though? ;)
@bioLarzen there are websites for that. You dont have to pay and they are online.
@bioLarzenit’s the people who don’t have lives that spend their days slaving away at work instead of enjoying their days
@pnss3569 ... or who work enough to still be able to enjoy it - and have enough life and means to enjoy the rest of their time - not glued to a screen ;)
To each their own I guess.
Any tutorials to do this?
i have mi tv 4a pro 32inch since 2019
@akirarsahany updates?
been doing this for my family since i was a kid (mobile plans, tv boxes back then) now same but with subscriptions etc. cool that u educate People about it!!
@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley my internet prepaid plan is only 6.8usd/mos. Unlimited 5g and everything else.
@rollinghippo2940 Awesome! What company are you with and are you on a plan meant for a select category (such as disability or low income)?
Very important to remember!!!!
I saved a ton of money by cancelling my subscription to a girlfriend.
It's kinda comical how much it saves
The savings dip significanly when you cancel a wife. Spend whatever money it takes to find a lawyer that will make sure you don't pay alimony. My last one paid ME alimony for 2 years!
Lmao
You have a girlfriend? Wow.
@OvindaSakun you have a life? wow.
Man the quality of your videos is crazy nowadays. I have been watching you since you had 500k subs and the change of quality is diabolical .You are a big inspiration to many. Love your vids. May god bless you with more success.
Finally the money bar on the side goes up
10:26 I almost got a heart attack when i thought you were going to suggest Honey.
lmao fr
12:57 your literally in the uk, just press the on/off switch, you don't need to unplug
A large portion of his audience is American, that's why his content is usually tailored towards Americans, such as constantly showing prices in dollars, and obviously with this tip
That's actually a good point lol
you're*
You can't really tell people to "just turn off the switch" because that's too specific and local to his country where his vast majority of audience aren't from.
When building new house you can have the sockets tied to a switch, so when you go out, you can turn everything off.
We have that at work, the switch below the light switch, turns off the wall sockets.
Only use them for floor lamps, and charging phones.
No way Mrwhosetheboss just went from being Mrbeast of tech to actually being a lifesaver!
Perfect Timing for because I was about to buy a monthly pack from NowTV
Looking Forward To A follow up video to this series!!
if you want a even better lifesaver then save my life by subscribing and helping your brother out
I just really love that Arun talks about tech but still thinks about normal people and how inconvenient for the average user certain mechanisms in the tech field have become . Thank you man!
0:12 this statement and the thumbnail better not be clickbait 😭🙏🏽
It is. Netflix just let me do it with two clicks. Goodbye email came in a heartbeat. 😂😂😂😂
@ronglou4911 😂
@ronglou4911not in uk for me, it worked fine, got like 70%
i had some complication with the connection of bank account and netflix, called support to have it fixed so they can take my money again. after looking into it for like 1 minute the dude on the phone dead ass suggested to me to just buy those code cards to load them up to my account...instead of fixing the problem and getting money each month wether i watch or not. they dont need you as a customer, they seem to have enough
He never lies 🙄
Strict laws need to be applied on companies to stop using these dark patterns
Dark arts.
No way, he actually made a video on saving money 😭 I thought it was just clickbait, but nah, man really went all in
I have experience with an expansive charger, and I totally agree with that
Love your videos! (14 secs is crazy)
9:40 reverse image search is your best friend
Netflix, Disney+? What's that? All I've heard is piracy.
Remember the ultimate money saving move is not buying things you don't need
Exactly. Don't keep a subscription you don't use just because they offer a discount. Applies to other stuff too
Didn't know Netflix was considered to be Tech.
2:15 You can also get an 8TB WD SN850X NVME drive for $600 with a UGREEN thunderbolt 5 NVME enclosure for $300 to get the faster 8TB storage (upto 7GB/s vs 6GB/s) for $900
I wonder how much these costs now
@AhmadMali-pu4eh Don't even wanna look 😭
8:22 woah this is a horrible sentiment!!!! shoutout to all the consumer rights activists like louis rossman fighting for customers to actually OWN and keep what we BUY!!!!
Agreed. I hate the idea of paying a subscription just to 'rent' a product that you're never going to own.
I never thought this guy would be giving us saving advice
He does it all the time bro. If you pay attention.
He always makes it clear when you shouldn't get something, and only get it if you really need it or you have more than enough money
@rotcivikiasAKAsaikingyes but i dont think he ever gave full on saving tips
Why do you think that?
@rotcivikiasAKAsaiking mate, he bought big ugly speakers for £80,000. You can buy a brand new high performance car (500+hp) for that money
He has the money bruv, he can still buy a high performance car and still get a 80k speaker at the same time. He is literally a tech enthusiast, buying the most absurd techs is nothing to him. @ChR0nos_7734
Nah, I sail the seas 🏴☠️
the family pack subscription is a deal in my country, subscribers often sell their login code to other people for a fraction of profit and literally they pay the service for free, usually on streaming and games services.
10:25 thought it was gon be Honey 😂
Weird getting saving tips from someone who lately got the most insane tech for his new house lol but I still appreciate the effort.
Bought a 50 million dollar mattress too
@-M0LEdidn't buy, just tested it.
15 dollars per gb should be a crime
I've heard of carriers doing $1/MB. That's right, a dollar per MEGAbyte.
@SuperSpruceis that even legal ?
@TherealClueLess-j7r its illegal but it is what it is, instead of getting stressed, why not help brother out to get to 200 subs, its at least way more beneficial than companies caring about user experience rather than money
@dreamblade7777 bruh im good
@TherealClueLess-j7r ok bro thanks for letting me know, thank you have a nice day
I work at spectrum here in the States and we have the same thing. We offer certain customers specific deals and discounts to either buy them back or keep them
My saving setup:
Movies: Barely watch them so no subscription
Music: YT download / bandcamp / occasional streaming service subscription
Games: Steam sale games + free epic games
Phone: 1-year old midrange is the way to go
TV: Hell no, not when they constantly spy on you
...
Motorcycle: Where all those savings end up being burned on
13:25 not having an unlimited plan must be tragic
Talking about data we got 5g unlimited…. He he 😁 13:46
I have unlimited 5G almost everywhere I go.
except inside my house. Thankfully, I have Wi-Fi at home, which is also essentially unlimited since the data cap is in terabytes, and I’ll probably never reach it. Gotta love Jio!
same with insurance companies - but must tell them at renewal time that you have got quotes and if they ask where from - list the competitive companies and then you'll know which company you need to get a quote from for the insurance company to price match their quote.
this is such a new type of video I've been watching you since the start and I know how much you've grown good job Mr whose the boss
The differences across european vendors are insane!
He has a lot of money but I love how he takes his time to get all his things in the best, most convenient and cost effective way possible, like a real boss😎😎😎
It's just for the video
we had almost none of this in our childhoods/teenages in 2005-2015 and yet we survuved we were up to date with trends had friends enjoyed and did everything we did that we do tday with ease and *purpose*
10:26
Thought you were about to promote honey 💀
Ok but the physical storage is genius
It's so genius people have been doing it for only 25 years by now.
Credit card companies always win. You didn't get a deal, they just dragged you in deeper.
correct
@ethansandersmusic nope if you have self-control and know how to use credit cards
You won't believe the ad that popped up before the start of this... 😂
10:45 Do Not buy any 8gb video card 5060 or other alike, get something with at least 12gb or more
fr bro 12 is like the bare minimum now
Buy 8 GB if you get it for around $200. No more than $200 is justified for an 8 GB Graphics Card.
3060 (12GB) runs Indiana Jones better than a 3070 or 3070 ti (8GB)
12 you mean 16gb you muppet
if u gaming in 1080p 8gb is fine
How dare RUclips hide this from me for 1 whole minute
istg racist insta comments have more creativity than youtube comments
@r-ddleI don’t have insta
2:38 The music sounds a bit like cantina band
8:44 UNDERTALE MENTIONED!!
5:30 I have been giving this same idea to all my friends and family, but people always want the more shinier newer thing🤷🏻 I guess I just can't help all of them. Some listen and thank me 😂.
That's human nature for you
I cant imagine paying that for an apple product. I dont understand the people that bend over for corporations like that.
9:10 PHONK CATS???
5:18
Got a fubo tv ad here lmao 😂
Bro you forgot the biggest gamers save ever. Steam family share beta. 5 people only 1 has to buy a game. Saved hundreds with that already.
Unless you wanna play together, but it's still a great option
I hope they introduce ip checks like Netflix, this damages game developers.
@gro967 "damages game developers" bro I need to pay bills 😭
he forgot an even bigger one, free epic games for and easy free account? i've got now more games on epic then on steam and there not all trash.
@gro967 don't believe this is true because the developers can choose to let the game get shared, not all games use this function on steam
from tech reviewer to giving financial advice, what a guy! 😂
Makes sense. He's got an economics degree.
@smashley7210wouldn’t surprise me if that were true
In relation to eBay around 11:00 they have changed how ebay works, so you will get the full amount you sell it for, and shipping the buyer pays or you can set it up so you pay, either way you don't lose money to eBay now. eBay now charge the buyer and not the seller. So the seller makes all of the money as it's free to sell on eBay now.
my provider actually allows me to set the data cap
the whole "charge people big money if they run out of data" thing can be opted out of in some countries
it now just cuts the internet if I run out instead
6:44 now, the problem with that is, we are buying not the game but part ownership to play the game. We don’t own the actual game. If the user tries to do anything “illegal “, which means things that they don’t like. They can take back the games😂
This has been the case for digital games for years, it's literally impossible to 'own' a digital game without just sending you the file (obvious piracy concerns there)
@SSukram_The main issue is that now, in the agreement it will be stated that they can take it back , whenever they think u have done smth wrong. I’m not not talking about others, just Nintendo.
Ok but what would you be doing that a game company wouldn't like (messing with the game and cheating obviously)
@originalmofo229Yea, I would be suing them or wouldn’t like it.The pirating or others stuff have been done for years, and yet they still have their fan base. But not only making the new Nintendo switch stupidity expensive. I guess people are still gonna buy it😂
Well ninteno isn't the only one who can take it back, they aren't industry leaders, they are just the ones taking the blow at their pr@Hierophant-j9v
2:00 - or just get one of the 99% of laptops that supports replaceable storage
wanna pay less on subscription? revanced.
This was so helpful -- thank you!
7:47 Massive?
11:42 a yes, _grow your own sushi_
😂😂😊
8:10 "beat the market" lmao
And 3 years goes quickly so honestly the s22 still feels kinda new
Kept my Int'l Huawei P30 Pro until last year (finally ran out of security updates) - Feels like smartphones kinda peaked right before C19.
@ulogy my man dropping C19 like it's a C4. had me confused for a second there lmao
@src798C4 is way less destructive, haha
7:00 in our country no one pays for single player games on playstation , people either jailbreak their console or login on a account that has that game , download the game , make the console offline and then logs out from that account from other devices like pc , this way unlimited number of users can use a single account until they dont turn the console online
7:55 oof, That aged like milk in a span of 4 months
13:40
Most carriers have an option to disable that territory, and just cut off your network if you don't have a prepaid plan
The 15 dollar charger is less reliable
@marknikitin7257 I don't know what you are talking about, I have been using the charger for almost 5 years and changed 2 phones yet its still not causing any problems.
As long as its a reputable brand (anker as shown in video is a great brand tbh at reasonable prices) a cheaper charger is fine. I wouldnt buy a 65w charger off ali express though
Nah, phone chargers is one of the things you shouldn’t cheap out on
bro just recommends $15 aliexpress charger that can set ur house on fire. thx! gonna buy the $9,99 aliexpress 150w charger. surely everything gonna be fine
10:18 LOOL the keyboard that LinusTechTips spent a whole video dissing on because it's trash
first mistake is buying reddragon
you want keychron not reddragon
that recession content is hitting
