So I’m not big on FP builds in this game. However, I would give Torturers Set a shot (haha) if they made the set bonus something like: all shots multiply by 3-5. Meaning any AR becomes a mini shotgun, and any shotgun becomes a cannon. If I knew every single bullet or pellet would be multiplied (while still technically only firing one) I would certainly give it a go.
lvl40 pyro.. I'm a heat seeker fan. Thermal bomb/ash/overheat is just so much fun. Used most of the sets just tired of spamming lava and bored of heatwave before worldslayer. It holds it's own but since the update, I've noticed seconds before killing a boss their damage is massive. Sometimes downing me in the last seconds of a fight.
Haven't played in months/a year plus. I was acari before I stopped playing. Preparing to return...updating the game now. I'm curious to see the new builds and gear. Fun fact. I looked at the torturer set and was immediately traumatized upon looking at the helmet. That was a pain to try to farm.
It's been a long time since I've played but the best pyro build should still be on my channel unless they have massively changed things it was 2 or 3 flame walls into a faserbeam allowing for tick damage extra damage mitigation and buffs to damage then the faserbeam hit like a truck....I may even be saying the skill names wrong it's been so long so hopefully you make sense of this 😂👍
I wish I could have all these good legendary outfits and weapons, I feel like I keep playing the trials on worldslayer over and over and not getting good legendary stuff and im only on level 44 and I played with other random online and they're the same rank as me but they're demolishing elites and lower enemies with one shot or few shots on a high tier, I feel I gotta be doing something wrong with pyromancer
Nice video and I liked your ranking but if I may make a suggestion, add something so people can jump to see a specific ranking? I tried the Heat Seeker armor set with all 5 pieces with zero changes to the mods(I did raise all attributes to the max at least) just to see how bad/good it would be and what it needed tweaked to make it even as viable for the #2 slot in this video and I have to say that for my personal experience, it was WORSE than the Acari default. Yes, with the right mods, both can be devastating but default-wise things were meh. I used only the abilities and no weapons because weapons with the right mods can let you solo even most of the things in the game without a single ability used and that would have thrown off my testing. I noticed that you added the ash blast mod to the heat seeker helmet that gives a lot of damage in weapon and anomaly and since your anomaly was higher, it got that 30% boost as well which is a excellent decision. I never gave Lava any thought since it was so bad before but after this video I might give it a look-see.
I found the heatseeker to just be an all around easier set to use and can be done at a nice range rather than acari which is always going to need that close range heatwave as its buffing mechanic...acari will still get more anomaly damage so ultimately will hit very hard but i much preferred the overall style of the heat seeker set up for add clear with no real need for additional mods allowing you to focus on damage for your elites and bosses
i think all sets are good with the right set up some definitely seem to excel a bit more than others....will have a lil look see if i can set it up differently for a better approach👍
at the last Set 😂 ive play it ehm you should juse this f.a.s.e.r. skill with the augment from the armor you can boost your anomaly damage 50% more 😅 little fact to realy one shot that boss by the way this Faser skill Deals double the damage as the Eruption 😊

Must admit I much prefer anomaly as well....Definitely needs some kind of multiplier or damage buff as sets without that fall behind currently

That helmet and the lava lich took me around 5 months to get😂

the legendary armor sets change the game the damage boosts up massively due to the mods on them

Torture set is amazing u need to set it up right... and I do good with bosses as well..

unfortunately they massively nerfed the eruption set after this as it was beating bosses too fast👍
