Very good job and a fine tunning adjustment. But still for me the big problem in the Himalayan (mine included) is the rear suspension that wears and weakens very easily . Has anyone come up with any solutions for that?
Hey ben, good information on forks. Btw which type of/grade oil would you recommend for all purpose riding cases i.e. highway, good roads, broken roads and occasional off road for adv 390.
Sorry but it depend! There is a chart on the internet, the properties of the oils changes depending on the manufacturer! In other words, a 10 oil for a manufacturer has more or less viscosity, etc.! from a google
Brother ben hello ❤ .. tell me about your dampening rod holes .. modifications.. please .. i theink that's the main thing after the valve emulaters. ... I already watched all of your videos
For the emulators to take over the job of controlling oil flow from the damper rod, we need to make the damper rod irrelevant, by that I mean to say the controlled flow . To fully get this flow controlled by the emulators we need to drill the existing holes in the damper rod bigger and more in number. That way the oil flows freely and the emulators now can fully control the oil flow to with desired precision flow set by turning the screws
measuring the sag is a good start for the springs! Rebound and compression needs more wheight oil or change the internals.
