Detoured Amtrak 4 Highballing Claremont 1/27/25

After being held in Claremont for several hours due to a trespasser strike on the tracks ahead, Amtrak Southwest Chief train 4 highballs Claremont with AMTK 60 in the lead. Due to a track closure on its normal route, the Chief was detouring over the Metrolink San Gabriel Sub between Los Angeles and San Bernardino.

Weird to have it stop at Claremont. Probably had to have Metrolink Pilots to run on the SG Sub. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
