if you listen to the beat of the song during the verses, it takes on that tone of a lullaby; quiet, slowed and steady. The beat can tell a story in itself. The chorus, being wild and loud, is the "cries" so to speak, adn when the chorus dies down, it's that explanation of "it seems our cries are just another lullaby", as in, "no one's listening", so it quiets down.

I really wish you guys would come back to Seattle so I can see this and other songs live for the first time. I am a huge fan and wish I had known you guys since the start, sadly just since last year, but have made up ground in the past year or so. Learning all your songs and this album being my favorite! You have come a long way since Thinking and your first two EP's Infinity and Gravity, plus all the cover songs including Taylor Swift's Red. It's what I wished ATC has been when I heard 'Guessing' 8 years ago. I really hope this album goes viral, so there'll be more music like that! Music is a great mix of different genres - it reminds me of a number bands (Krewella, Within Templation, Nickelback). Love the lyrics and the non-linear lyric structure and vocal of the chorus.
