Thanks for the heads-up on the zip ties and losing the heated feature. Mine still works, but that's okay because I only really like it when the back is heated. All heated seats should have "zone" heating in my humble opinion. Great video, thanks again!
Thanks for the video. I've got to change both driver's and passenger's lower seat cover - and also the foam on the driver's side. I've had the parts a few years and have never gotten around to doing it.
Thanks for the motivation. I've had these replacement seat covers for over a year, but I was procrastinating because I didn't know where to begin. Great video, thanks.
One of the companies that makes these replacements also makes on in actual leather. The one in the video is vinyl. The leather ones are a slightly better match, but there's always a diffuse due to a few factors (aging, slight variations between batches, etc.).

I wish people would show the whole process.

Thank you for this video. I'm replacing the seat covers in my 2 door Tahoe. That's a good looking suburban you have.
Glad I could help

What threadlock do you use when you put the bolts back?
Thanks!!!!
You're welcome
If the suburban has cloth seats can you replace it with leather covers?
Yes, you can.
So did you just punch holes for the zip ties? Sorry if it was covered.
I used the existing holes and switched from metal clamps to zip ties.
Was making the openings on the side a pain?
It wasn't too bad. Just make sure you don't over cut the hole because it will show.
@@Horizoncamperbuildswhoa hi! Big fan! did you use an exacto knife?
@@YeahNoToastTho that will work. Small cuts to start.
Where can you buy the actual seat brackets??
Pick n pull.
