I think this the earliest footage of the band I have ever seen. Jimmy was just a kid. LOL. And Marcus Colon on lead guitar, whom later went on to form Betrayal.
Wow ! This is EPIC deliverance footage I saw them(Deliverance) at HIS 2 Festival Fontana CA, April 1988 .....I wish I could find the footage of that show ! .......Amazing stuff .........Thanx for sharing !
Love your channel! The VHS tape with Stavesacre/Project 82 Cornerstone 02 in your photo is my writing. I recorded those shows and like so many others lost track of them over the years. Excited to see what you might have. I bought at ton of stuff from someone at Christian Metal Realm five years back so we might be posting a lot of the same shows, but you might have many I don't. All the best!
I've always wanted to see this. Why in the world did Thunder Calling make it to the official video, but all they had from D was Jimmy eating? Just wrong. My buddy Chris Hyde on drums. See you again my friend.
Chris Hyde - drums
He's the badass drummer on their debut album and "Weapon's of Our Warfare" RIP 2015

Yes, after his time in Martyr, he did go in to form betrayal.

No Time is such a great song. My favorite of their early stuff. Thanks for posting this.
Pastor Bob!! Awesome guy
Don’t understand why they were not on the official video, such a disservice, and their sound was so much better than Vengeance’s (no disrespect).

It's called Hold On Tightly

Totally agree dude. This is my first time seeing this video. Thanks Paul for putting this video up. I got a lot of videos to watch on your channel.
They may not have agreed to be on the vid.
@@slamdancer777 Since I've posted this comment, Roger Dale Martin from Vengeance/Reign of Glory told me they technical difficulties.
i've the full metal mardi grass video, and... there isn't the deliverance band...why?...someone here can explain for me? thanks.
Where can I find the full video?
What is the third song they are playing
That’s what I was wondering too ...

Sounds like it was influenced a bit by “Surrender”
Jimmy says it was called "Hold On Tightly" and yes they dropped it from the list when someone said it sounded a bit like Surrender.
@@damiien2684 Yeah, Deliverance used to cover Stryper's Surrender.
4:45 “ I don’t like this Group!?” Ha!! Jesus loves you lady... we’re trying 😘
Thanks Jimmy... Mosh It Up Baby!!
Man, we are old. Seriously.
This band sounds Metallica during the eras of Kill em all,Ride the lightning and Master of puppets.
