Greetings. Fun video to watch. Going down memory lane. Note/opinion: I actually only watch this "Legacy"-release of 'ALIEN' and not the later releases (including the Blu-ray boxed set, which I of course own). Why is that? 1. I´m a moron?! B. It is the only release that has the most accurate 1979 color scheme. The Nostromo is GREY(!)...and not metallic blue/blue-isch. End of story! Sincerely from a BIG 'ALIEN' fan.
I have this set and find it has problems playing on many DVD players. I have always bought name brand players and I can't remember all the issues but freeze ups and not allowing the films to start from the menu come to mind. The Quad replaced it right about that time and I have kept them but never play them now.
I love you for doing this video, since I'm still uncertain about buying this original edition which is pretty cool for starters, or the Blu-ray Anthology Edition which have all the special features even from the Quatrilogy edition. So I'm having second thoughts about buying which one!
Easter Egg 1 Nostromo Crew Biographies: Go to the Special Features menu. Once in there arrow down the list to the Main Menu and instead of pressing right to go to the more extra special features press down again and you should be highlighting the hole in the floor. Select this and it will take you to the secret reports that ASH the android was sending back to the Special OPs. You are able to read them all. -Easter Egg 2 Alien Lifecycle Transmission: In the Main Menu go up to the Special Features part but instead of pressing enter press LEFT. This should highlight the window box to the left. Press ENTER and this will take you to more Hidden documents. This time about the Nostromo’s flight plans and bios of all the crew aboard it.
I actually miss the "pan and scanning" part in Alien 3 when Ripley punches her would be rapist in the face. It had more weight when the shot would follow her swing into the guys face.
And did you another star wars aliens crossover te hnivslly a xenomorph appears in star wars comic in mass crowd sequence and I am a huge star wars fan have been since I was 1 or 2
My grandpa used to have this et it reminded me of the star wars box set because of the silver it after my grandma's death he sold off a bunch of thing including this att before I ever got to wacthe these until I was nine and rediscovered the films and baemcze fan of this franchise and it's my third favorite sci fi franchise behind star wars and star and around the same time I was exposed to predtor franchise come the to think 5he main franchise I was exposed to as little and my favorite mof all time star wars actually iacthuy entire shelves of avp star trek and star wars toys but I dont he battestar glactica riddick stargte toys and I vene have some Babylon 5 toys but no indepce day which is favorite of mine outside of star wars star trek alien predtor franchises

Do you have the quad trilogy nine disc dvd
