Love the Lamy Studio but the nib should have worked. Yes, bottled ink is something that can be new, since Europeans tend to use cartridges. I use black ink exclusively I have Quink black ink. I knew about ink bottles from high school but my pens always leaked until I bought good quality pens.
Thank you for sharing! I like your realistic approach to acquiring new pens and inks, to be happy with what you already have, enjoy them and be purposeful in your future acquisitions.
Really nice start! I'm definitely in a time of experimenting with different nibs right now. So far, it seems like the cursive italic gives the most character to my writing. Looking forward to more of your videos!
I caught the fountain pen bug and now have four. I have yet to ink three pens because I don’t know how long I can leave ink in the pen without using it?
@@Alianderfarm so cool! Which ones did you get? I wouldn‘t worry about that as long as you are not leaving them for a year without writing or with permanent ink for a few months. It definetly depends on how good the cap is ceiling. But in my experience you can get any pen clean again with enough flushing and soaking. Even of it is crusty (though I certainly do not recommend that 😉). When I was in school I didn‘t flush my pen (washable blue ink) for years. I didn‘t know you should. I just popped in a new cartridge when the other one was emty or dried up.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my perspective with your tag and these questions!
My pen tastes have gone to loving Demonstrators/clear/transparent pens. It is ok to change

Thank you! The cursive italic is for sure an interesting nib. I also want to try more kinds of grinds in the future.
I do love a brain dump journal.
Me as well. It‘s such a good way to get my thoughts out on paper and being able to process them better.
I always enjoy a fountain pen ramble. Thanks!
Thank you!☺️
