Hi , i’m from Banja Luka . Thank you for visiting our city and showing it in a beautiful light ! 🥰
Hi Anja! Thank you so much, really glad to hear that you enjoyed our video 🥰🤗❤️

Hii! Is it safe to travel there now? Is it true that theres terrorisms and land mines?
@@ohyeahnyx there are many land mines and many terrorist hare but they are friendly 😉
@@ohyeahnyx there is no terrorism at all! Land mines are only on the previous war lines, far away from cities and civilisation, its very safe, more safe than some major western cities.
Matt and Juiia. Julia your laugh is infectious. Matt, you're having fun with it all. As always, you never disappoint. The camera is shooting so good. Thanks for another great vlog.
Haha, thank you so much! Gotta have fun with it 😉

Republika Srpska
Republica Srpska
Capital city of the Republika Srpska
B i H! Oduvijek i zauvijek!
The point of this video was to show beautiful city of Banja Luka and some places near it and any kind of comment like yours which includes political views is on the wrong place.
Thank you for this beautiful video about my town. I hope you visit us again, and I'm glad you like it here. 💙
The countryside in Bosnia and Herzagavina is gorgeous. It was interesting that the countryside was dotted with both minarets and Orthodox churches. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Really incredible, so green! Yeah it is a real meeting point of religions for sure 😊
READ ABOUT THE HISTORI UNDER OTTOMAN EMPIRE!!!
Those Orthodox Churches are Serbian. People must understand that this part of Bosnia in the video is "Serbian" (Banja Luka). The other parts of Bosnia (muslim) was built either by Ottomans or today so called Bosniaks...
@@stevem4660 it's not and will never bee. You are a Bosniak of orthodox faith just like your ancestors, you have to live with that kid. The so called "serbs" from Bosnia never existed before the creation of bloody Yougoslsvia.
This is not bosna i hercegovni, this is Republica Srpska
Thank you for the video. I served with NATO in Bosnia in 2003. Visited the camp in Banda Luka several times. So nice to see the city recovered from the war.
You are welcome Margaret 🙂
We are not rebuilding, if Dodik keeps up with his ideas, he will keep impaled on a stake for whole Bosnia to see along with his kurva woman 😂
Guess you weren't very welcome
I wouldn't want to leave that apartment either!
And Julia, your laugh is so cute...I just sit here smiling ... Exactly what I need 💜💚
Ahh it was too nice! 😍 Thank you so much, it makes me so happy that I can brighten your day ☺️❤️
Glad You enjoyed in my hometown, nice and pleasant couple ;) Come again!
Thank you very much Bojan! Really appreciate it :)
We went there from London, loved the place. We went rafting and went to diferent restaurant every day.We loved it,it was cheap as chips(bbq meal+beer 4.5£) if you go to a posh restaurant double it 🤣🤣

Also forgot to say WE LOVED THE PLACE
Julia, your laugh always cracks me up!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Love you guys, thanks for taking us along on the journey 💜
Haha, glad to be of service 😀 So happy to have you along with us ❤️
Go to the restaurants: Bizarre, Agape, Stara Ada, Mala Stanica or Kod Brke. And if you want study feelings and good but not expensiv food & drinks, than go to Sestica (6-ica) near University! Have fun! 😉

Y'all are so funny! I love it when Julia's tickle box gets turned on! On a not so funny note, I remember the awful fighting twenty five or so years ago. Sad, tragic time. I don't even know who all was fighting, or what they were fighting about. What you're showing us know, though, is lovely.
Haha, thank you so much Lyn 😄
Yeah, we have read a lot of the Balkan wars, absolutely heartbreaking, what opportunist politicians, coupled with religion can do.

Welcome to Banja Luka Republic in Serbia I was also in Banja Luka with my family it was so great nice that you liked Banja Luka Matt Julia her since me so sympathetic and so happy and she always laughs that’s nice too.
You had on half way from Banja Luka to Prijedor National Park Kozara, nice place to visit. Also in Banja Luka you had a lot more things to see, which are worth to visit..
Next time when we have more time, 100%
Where should I go in Banja Luka?
next all that near Banja Luka 25-30km you have National park Kozara, you need to see that
Eastern Sarajevo is the Capital of Republika Srpska
De facto there is no capital of the entity, at least there was a judgement by the constitutional court that entities don’t have a capital but an administrative center, which is indeed Banja Luka.

Republika Srpska is Beautiful. Nice video Btw.
Thank you 😊
I am Croatian, I was born in that city. I and all members of my family were mercilessly expelled by Serbian nationalists. Strangers will often be pleasantly surprised by the kindness. But there is one thing they don't know: Serbs have a folk proverb that reads: "Be nice, the man is a Frenchman." In the last fifty years, the Serbs brutally tortured and killed about fifty Catholic priests there. Banja Luka Bishop Franjo Komarica continued to help them and distribute humanitarian aid. That is why he was even nominated for the Nobel Prize. My family had an old oak forest stolen from my grandfather by Serbs. Property from my father's side was also stolen by a Serb who promised my uncle during the war that he would only use my cottage temporarily. We Croats were evicted from our properties, 4 million of us now live all over the world, and it no longer makes sense to pursue it in court. There are a lot of crazy people out there. Don't walk alone at night, young girls especially!
You guys are the best! 😂 Julia, you need to release a music video! I’ll be in the background holding a carton of eggs. 🥚
Hahaha, deal, only if you promise for be there with the cartón 😄
Julia you are an amazing singer ! Love how you both so enjoy this !, another great video ❤️❤️❤️❤️

All slavic people eggs call jajce....macedonian, serbs, montenegros, bosnians, croats, slovenians, bulgars.....
Actually not all, that's why we weren't 100%. In Czech for example it is Vejce and Polish it is Jajko 😊
@@MattandJulia in the nations I have written it is called jajce ( egg) !! Town has name from the hill above the town (with castle) who look like egg !!
That's good, as we said in video we thought it meant egg 😊 it is also the same in Russian.
@@MattandJulia yes, russinas too.....Im from Skopje - Macedonia 🇲🇰 Best wishes to you, and we expect in skopje again ❤️
You visited Jajce and didn't call us 🤦🏻♀️ You will have to come again! Jaja is the word for egg in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian but the name of the town is derived from that word as someone has already written.

Magic times. I was there twice. One week in May and one in July and I gain like 8 kilos... (or was it 5?)... Then I went to Tuzla in an accodingly amazing road trip. Met some really nice people that summer.

Bosnia is literally wrriten in the title 🙂
@@MattandJulia You guys always go with country you are in, especially if you are not familiar with it's history. We had bloody war that took place early 90es, 95 Genocide that happened in that part of Bosnia. People are very sensitive! Obviously, someone told you what to write. My recomendation to visit would be Srebrenica. You'll understand it all.😢 Thank you for visiting Bosnia.💕
Ovo su mladi ljudi i to njih ne zanima .Sve i da posete i vide za oravili li za 2-3 sata. to t je tako .
@@luck2893 Republika Srpska was recognized officially in the Dayton Accords. Croatian army and Bosniaks were killing Serbs there the entire war and the Bosniaks had the largest number of combatants. Most of the deaths were combatants. Srebrenica was a huge Bosniak military base with one of its top commanders being Naser Oric who was showing videos of his and the 28th Brigade's attacks on Serb villages all around Srebrenica. Bosniaks had a scorched-earth policy on Serbs there for years. But then that army literally walked out of Srebrenica a few nights before the fall - this was witnessed by the UN at their stations in the north. They watched as up to 18,000 men left and the men aimed for Tuzla. Meanwhile the UN and Bosniak leadership, before they left, had ordered women and children to the UN's base at Potocari even though there was no fighting at that time.
When Serbs arrived the UN told them to take the women and children to Tuzla, so Serbs sent buses with civilian bus drivers and took them to the airport.
They have been using soldiers who died from the entire war (since 1992) and counting those dead as Srebrenica "fall" victims. This is known from some captured Bosniak military records. Most of the dead show injuries consistent with combat. (Bosnian Muslims wouldn't allow any of their actual autopsy records at the ICTY - even an ICTY judge admitted this. They don't want their propaganda to fall apart.)
They also are counting many who were never in Srebrenica during the war, including soldiers who died in Zepa, a city to the south of Srebrenica. They count 12 municipalities, besides Srebrenica, so you can say the combat deaths in a large part of eastern BiH.
And the Bosnian Muslim army had a greater number of military men in Srebrenica and the area than Serbs did. That is why the fall was arranged as part of a land swap for Vogosca (discussed by Izetbegovic and Sarajevo government leadership with the Bosnian Serb leadership back in 2003).
