Let’s put it this way raiju. I’ve binged every episode since finding you. I never split these episodes into multiple sittings it’s always in one. I have sat through a 3 hour streak and been less entertained.
TLDR: I’d watch an 8 hour video from you. Don’t worry about the time just keep up the great content, reactions and commentary! I’ve never been more enthralled watching someone’s reactions to Naruto. I love it and imma binge it as many times as I’ve seen Naruto which so far is 8 times from start to finish

Some things Lee learned the gates for neji. Just the weights isn't enouph.
Gentle fist can turn off points and a graze is lethal.
Gates are Chakra points.
Also gentle fist has other abilities I won't tell u yet as spoilers.
However with the byackugan being stronger than sharingan
It is sight only
Every sight based thing sharingan has byackugan is better.
HOWEVER
The sharingan has the hypnotic eye.
And as you will soon discover(this aspect is busted all I will say is sasukes bro)

But when it comes to any ability prescribed to the peircing eye (eye of insight it's just mad o.p.)

FUN FACT: Author Masashi Kishimoto when he created the Byakugan actually took the appearance of the eyes of people who were victims of nuclear radiation after Hiroshima and Nagasaki who were left permanently blind. So that they would not be humiliated by the appearance of such eyes, he gave the Byakugan the ability to see everything.

No matter how many time I've seen Gaara vs Rock Lee I still get chills everytime those weights drop
I remember piccolo just kinda quickly chucking em off like no big deal. Having the weights just destroy the ground from being so heavy, was awesome
yea and how lee got back up ready to fight when he was unconscious, that was crazy to me every time

In the manga, Tenten's fight with Temari doesn't happen: it just cuts to Tenten already beaten on the ground. In fact, EVERY fight Tenten ever gets is anime-only. She's done that dirty. Also, Zaku's arms get blown off in the manga instead of merely breaking, during the shino fight

I feel bad for Hinata every time cause she is definitely stronger than the rest of the girls here but her losing was to serve as a big motivator for Naruto. Just imagine tho if she had to fight Sakura, Ino or Tenten, they'd be the ones on a stretcher. She just got the unfortunate fight against basically the Sasuke of Team Guy.
Fun fact in the Naruto manga, when Zaku uses his "trump card" against Shino, one of his arms gets blown off. That panel was brutal enough to give me chills on my first read.
Remember, the prelims are being held so less people are in the finals so it makes sense that a double knockout and no one goes through is more acceptable than both winning.

I love how little Neiji’s philosophy makes sense but he says it with such conviction you kinda tilt your head and see if you’re missing something
There is alot of family drama within that clan, and with semi recent history. If you don't know, I won't spoil you
Some people got bought in by the conviction even today and think he was right even though he is just dead wrong
about to hit the absolute peak of Naruto part 1, enjoy the Rock Lee & Gaara spectacle

As a helpful to know, it’s opening of the 8th gate that kills the user. Lee opened up to the 5th gate, so he was just exhausted. Opening gates further than that brings substantial risk to his body (but it’s implied that Lee can’t open past there at this time)

Even after finishing the entire series I still come back and rewatch Rock Lee vs Gaara from time to time because it's one of the coolest fights in the entire show.

I absolutely love Hinata vs Neji. The Byakugan is so cool, and I've often said, if I could have one power from Naruto, it would be the Byakugan. I wouldn't necessarily want to be a Hyuga (you'll understand why in the Finals), but it's so cool

Also this soundtrack (its actually called Hinata vs Neji) is amazing like many others in og Naruto. But it is one of the most beautiful and nostalgic ones.
Like you said in the first few episodes NEVER Expect that someone is dead on the first hit. The most used jutsu is the substitution Jutsu and there are so many versions of it.
Lee’s 8 Gates felt like watching Goku using Kaioken for the first time for me. The effects for this ability feel pretty inspired by it.
“No way we’re getting Zaku backstory…” that was so funny to me cause I felt the same way seeing it even as a kid. He felt so insignificant to basically everything going on and he just gets his own dedicated flashback lol

Just found your content a few hours ago. Is there anything you're looking forward to seeing happen during the final exams? I'm glad to see you're becoming more and more hooked. Dragon Ball was my favorite thing in the world growing up. Then I saw this dubbed on t.v. and felt so connected to the characters. Can't wait for you to empathize with Gaara.

That scene with lee breaking down crying always hit me.. and when he got back up and was still unconscious. That whole fight watching it over again hit me even harder.. its been a while witnessing that again. I watched this before im sure more than 5 times.. trying to show others how deep the fight was
One of the best moments in all Naruto adventure.
So much interesting Ninja moves, so much entertainment, and so much gravity and sadness in a dozen episodes. That was a masterclass that still count in the end of Naruto Shippuden , even if there are a lot of incredible arcs

the eight gates are less like super sayian and more like the kaiyoken, if the drawbacks of the klaiyoken actually mattered. the whole fight is the goku VS vegeta moment of naruto, only these guys don' have senzu beans or dragonballs to fix injuries like this.
In the manga, Zakus arms actually get blown off but it was censored in the anime
The rock lee vs gaara was iconic. Gave me more respect to rock lee and made gaara one of my fav characters

The reason lee turned red when he opened the chakra gates is because his blood was literally boiling. I don't even wanna know how painful having your own blood boiling inside of you would be. Lee must have truly known pain in that moment.... Hehe know pain...

I really wish the Naruto vs Kiba fight was animated better, but they really had to budget for the Lee vs Gaara fight.
Both could have been really cool, but I also appreciate that they show Naruto struggling so much because he JUST got to the tower after the forest part of the exam, fighting almost non stop after waking up from Orochimaru's seal, which also seems to be messing him up.

Hi, new viewer here! I've watched probably 2 dozen reaction channels of different anime, probably half dozen of those were first time Naruto watchers. I have to say, out of all the reaction channels I've watched, you are the funniest and most entertaining of them all (maybe we just have a similar humor) You don't talk when people are talking (about important things) and the editing is very well done for what you kind of have to cut out in order to be able to upload lol, and the some of the edits are great as well for some more laughs along the way.

Lee vs. Gaara is such an iconic fight, to the point where even people who've never watched Naruto know about it, it's just that good. The start is so fucking hype that I always forget how sad the end is. The genius of hard work who gave his blood, sweat and tears to achieve his dream vs. the cold guy with no regard for life, who can't even be bothered to uncross his arms during a fight. Two completely opposite ninja ways. I firmly believe that other than Naruto, no other genin in that room could take on Gaara but Lee.
And yeah, such a weird decision to add another side character fight after Gaara vs. Lee. Who even cares at that point.

Top Dog Sakura and Ino YESSS! VINDICATION! Everyone has fancy moves but I really like how the girlies were serving actual ninja realness, throwing shuriken and kunai and doing hand to hand combat for so much of their fight. Ino cutting her hair and Sakura's double personality were really cool too.
