Tamara, I have mostly quietly watched Joey go through his first RUclipss to present. I missed these last three years as I spent it in several hospitals. Delightful! I heard he was married. Joey's changes have been in three cstages and each time he just got better. He is embarrassed by his very basic approach to aquariums but in those days he was incredible! He was a great Teacher but the energy he gave off was a difficult thing for him to contend with. He always had this crazy streak in him and he inspired me and so many others. Getting myself out of hospitals took a while but to see Joey as he is now, just makes me smile because I see how happy he is. This will be the only time I drop a comment, oh I'll be watching your shrimp as well. Did you know Crystal Shrimp are or were influenced by Koi keepers because they took I less room but were held in high esteem by the Asian people. Take care all the best to you both.
Thank you for your very kind comment, I loved reading it ❤ I’m glad you are out of the hospital now, even if it took a while, and hope you are doing well!! 😊 You’ll definitely be seeing lots more of my shrimp & thanks for sharing the fact about the crystals!
LOL - thedustpan trick, I'm not even a fish hobbyist and I knew that! That 'secret' has been shown on a lot of videos already. Thank you for confirming the trick.
Glad you guys are showing a none expensive way and easy for people to take out the substrate! Now I will say the Temu one is good, the one in family dollar breaks right away. Mine was an old expensive one from Home Depot because was way way before Temu was existing!! I wished I had Temu back then!!! And for like 10 gals aquarium the little kids kit that have the broom and the dust pan with the rubber or silicone border for not scratch your tanks. I need to say it because some of us are old and have arthritis so we can't carry like you youngsters a empty with only substrate tank! 😂😂😂 ME and some of our friends sing that song that Al Bundy sang in the show😮: "We are the old, we have arthritis, our gums are week with gingivitis." Every time we start talking about illness and meds!!! 😅😅😅 😂😂😂😂😂 Hope you guys can easy fix the stuff for the insurance. I never dealt with an oil heater so I can't give you any tricks for you to do it easily. I wish 😢 But I wish you guys the best and love the video that both of you were wearing the same clothing.
Ah man! Not having the silicon or rubber lip at the end of the dust pan - that is what I have been doing wrong! Always great to learn new things, especially when you have been doing it wrong for so long!!
Sure is! As my husband and I are working together on this big project, I’m going to bless y’all with some bonus content from him while I can! I call these types of videos “king of DIY Specials”
