My dad was killed 78 years ago...learn to count! He died on the 14th of April 1945, he'd have been 24 on the 18th of April 1945. The war in Europe ended on the 8th of May 1945 and I was born exactly a month after the war ended on June the 8th 1945. It seems a lot of fear mongering is going on to reduce the potential huge numbers expected to attend the Palestine March. It’s definitely a factor that will make some people afraid to attend in case they are attacked by right wing yobs. I hope that the fear is unfounded and that people attend anyway in spite of the potential risks. We should be proud as a nation if this March is as big or bigger than the march against the Iraq war.

Should the march stay within thier planed route which only gets within 2 miles away from the cenotaph, which all previous ones have, then the police exclusion zone announced on Friday will not reach the match route.

I think the way that offshore oil fields are drilled are that the crown estate has to offer a lease for tender so that oil companies can bid to set up oil rigs and drill for oil. From my understanding they have to pass legislation for the process to happen, similarly for how they had to setup the contracts for difference for when energy infrastructure is built. Part of this process is also providing the necessary subsidies to drill for the oil.

Yeah like... we all have family who died in the war. I had a great-grandfather who died in the war. One of my uncles was deployed many times including to Northern Ireland during the Troubles and the Middle East. My other uncle was in the army and was blown up on 1 July 2009 in Afghanistan (he survived).

I think you'll find that Braverman is speaking for moderate Brits across the country. Tommy Robinson or example tests slap bang in the center of the political compass. Why is it that the mainstream media call him far right - he demonstrably is not?
I'm slightly further right than Robinson when I do the test. I'm significantly more on the libertarian axes than him. The only reason I'm slightly to the right is because I think capitalism and small state facilitates freedom.
