I’m learning this piece now, self taught adult. After watching your videos, I wish I had a piano teacher. Thanks for the free education

These videos were inspired by donations from a couple of viewers, yet they are mostly a labor of love and desire to help those who may not have access to a teacher where they live. I am glad you are able to learn from them and hope you can find an in person teacher if you need one. Also I hope these videos inspire you to pay it forward in whatever your area of expertise! Let me know how it goes for you.

Thank you for your kindly detail explanation. Nowadays I am practicing this piece so your lecture gives me the great help. Do you have plan tutorials for Op. 72 no. 1?

I am glad this is helpful for you. I have lots of requests so it would be some time before I get to it, but I will add to the list. Thank you for watching

    Thanks again for these.
I’m a bit confused with your description of bars 9 and 10. I would say bar 9 has sus 4 on Beats 1 and 2 and sus 2 on beats 3 and 4. Bar 10 is the G sharp major chord on all four. Perhaps I am confused as in the video you seem to indicate that bars 9 and 10 start with sus 4 and 2 respectively and have the G sharp chord on beats 3 and 4 of each bar.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention---I see now what I did was confusing--when I did a little graphic of how the chords changed I used half notes, which weren't actually in the correct rhythm. So to clarify--first 4 eighth notes of bar 9 are G#sus4, next 3 eighth notes of bar 9 are G#, last eighth note of bar 9 is G#sus 2 (that is the "duet" w/RH), and ALL the eighth notes of bar 10 are G#. So in essence the sus 2 is just one single note. Thank you for letting me know so as I progress through the tutorial I can strive to explain this more clearly.
