Garage roof repair

Our garage roof is leaking. The papo roof covering has not held up due to the wind and incorrect installation. In fact, being located by the sea, we experience 3 or 4 impressive gusts of wind each year, which lifts the papo. The latter is fixed with galvanized iron wire, which rusts in a few months. Subsequently, not only do the papo turn over, but they fly away, because they are no longer fixed to the roof.
In the immediate future, we are replacing the roof with a plastic tarp. In the longer term, we plan to order aluminum wire and try again by covering the papo with an old fishing net to prevent it from lifting in the wind.
