I'm a bit late to the party here but I think this fragrance is worth the hype. Here's why: I have many fragrances from the house of Chanel. The original Allure was my first Chanel purchase way back in 1999 when it was released. However, this one is a stunner. It's also one of my most complimented fragrances. It works It's magic outside in the air where the sillage draws people in. For eg, I was approached by a lady while waiting for a pharmacy to open its doors. The trail literally stopped her in her tracks! The mandarin and mint fusion in the opening is gorgeous. The dry down is smooth and creamy and it's at this point that I go noseblind to the trail, but others can still smell it. It's a masterpiece, imo. I don't have to worry about this fragrance being overplayed as most guys at work don't wear any fragrances at all.
You have to keep using it. The scent becomes nose blind to the user, but I always get compliments from this & it projects very well! Hopefully an update once you get more use from this 👍🏼
Hello Paul, I’ve own Eau Extreme for 4 years now and have gotten my fair wearings out of it and just was never impressed with it but who knows it’s a possibility I’ll like it a couple more years down the road. Happy to hear you enjoy it and so do the people around you though!
First off, I just wanted to thank you for your honest review. Also, I also recommend grabbing Edition Blanche. Just don't expect it to change much and it lasts around 5-6 hours.
I felt the same way for the longest time but for some reason I would always gravitate towards it at the fragrance store probably testing several dozen times over the years. I finally decided to buy it and over time it really grew on me. It actually does transition from the opening from first half hour where it is very musky and peppery along with that strong tonka opening. However for those that aren't familiar with tonka it is truly a magical note(some of my favourite frags are tonka centric), it actually becomes sweet warm and soapy with time and contrary to popular belief actually works best in the summer or as your body emanates heat it truly comes alive. So what we get in the dry down is a creamier warmer sweet minty vibe that works wonderfully provided you aren't anosmic to it. I used to think it didn't last but as it turns out I probably become anosmic to the musk that is in this one after time. However it does last long it does project and comes into it's own in the dry down, definitely collection worthy.
First time I tried it was with a decant I do like the light airy minty freshness then I bought a 150ml Bottle It’s not a beast but a pleasant for your self type of scent lasts 6 hrs
When i first got eau extreme, I wasn't big on it. But it just took wearing it a few times to start appreciating it. I really like it now.
Glad you’re really enjoying it now Don. That happens with a lot of fragrances!

Thank you always have to be 100% honest! Yes, Edition Blanche seems to be much more up my alley!
I actually prefer the allure homme sport rather than extreme.
Need to try the original maybe I’d prefer it as well!
Agree... I also like Sport over Extreme if I had to pick one
For some reason, i dont really like the smell when i sprayed it on me, but i absolutely love it when i smell it on other people.
Edition blanche was the 1st Chanel of my collection and it was only available directly from Chanel online. It’s a 10/10 for me.
Cahsee isnt boring to me at all. It sometimes smells like a cookies and creme/cookie dough ice creme shake.
I think you should also talk about projection and longevity, that's what people mostly want to know about
He just wanted to shit on it ... everytime he mentioned this fragrance in another video he said he wasnt a fan then
@@MrRZA3636 lmao I don't really like it either, it seems very boring to me. I like BDC more
Hey Stefan don’t know if you caught it but spoke about the performance towards the end of the video!
@@FragranceHunter yeah I know but I was reffering to how much distance it projects off the skin, I think you should focus on that in future videos too
Tremendous great stream 👍👍 I have to get it just for the bottle!!!! That bottle is so good looking
Thanks Robert and yeah the bottle is pretty sweet!
I just got a compliment and she said it was delicious

Worth allll the hype. It’s a masterpiece. 10/10
To me it reminds me of Versace Eros when I first smelled it
Interesting, I can maybe see that if thinking about it!
Have yall smelled allure superlegerra?? Tell me about it
do u have any recommendation for a scent that is similar but has a bit more "uniqueness" to it???
For the price you pay, one gets very poor performance from all Chanel fragrances. Especially the Bleus.
That's why you wait for Macy's 15% off sales 💁🏽♂️
First time I tried it was with a decant I do like the light airy minty freshness then I bought a 150ml Bottle

i agree it a vanilla flavor Bleu blow this scent out the way. people did hype this up.
EDT?
Bro this is the best Chanel fragrance for men, very sexy
Definitely not the best from the house in my opinion but the note of Tonka bean can be very alluring and sexy!
@@FragranceHunter It is the best, alongside BDC. Performance is better on BDC but for sexiness Eau Extreme edges it
SOTD Tuscan leather
That Raspberry & Leather combo is 👌🏼
same here took me a few time to love it...chanel Is very nice.. allure original is amazing
I’ll have to try the original!
Am I the only one that doesn’t understand the hype behind BDC?! I just don’t care for it. This one to me is better. To each their own I suppose. 🤷🏼♂️
Agreed, had the EDP and traded it. It’s boring and basic compared to allure homme.
batch code?
3101
I’ve never understood the hype on this one.
So many better scents out there
Performance is very weak
Glad we agree!
You're giving people bad advice they can miss out on one of the best fragrancs available.
Sorry but I can’t trust anyone wearing that absolutely hideous watch that’s too big for your wrist.
No worries because that has anything to do with knowing fragrances? Thanks for watching and have a nice day
@@FragranceHunter it fits you well :D
Yea sleepy and boring
