It looked like a great vibe there, lovely evening out for the locals. I was at the match in Cologne and the atmosphere in the city and at the match is on a different level. I'm here in Stuttgart now for the next match and buzzing for Sunday🏴⚽

The banning of drink at Scottish football grounds is based on a class bias by those in the Scottish parliament. Go to Murrayfield and watch the rugby , largely the game of the middle class , and you can drink as much as you want. Also the rule they tried to take in about supporters buses not being able to stop at pubs was based on anti working class sentiment and a view by middle class politicians that working class football supporters are trouble makers. Its time Scottish clubs tried to end this discrimination and stand up for its supporters.
Alcohol has been banned at Scottish football since 1980. It’s a criminal justice law, not a simple rule. There was no Scottish Parliament in 1980.
@@gordonmackenzie4512 I'm well aware it's a criminal justice act , I'm also well aware there was no parliament in Scotland in the 80's. But the SNP overturned the law so it wouldn't include rugby grounds in 07.
Nothing to do with class at all. Alcohol was banned after Celtic and Rangers fans rioted at Hampden at the 1980 Scottish Cup final and everyone else in the country was punished along with them - 19 years before the Scottish Parliament even opened. The proposal to ban supporters buses stopping at pubs came from the UK Government down in London and was nothing at all to do with the Scottish Parliament. I don't really know what the clubs can do but if you want to be able to drink at football matches, the law would have to be changed and it's only politicians who can do that, not football clubs.
@@pauldonaldson6067 The politicians amended the act in 2007 so it wouldn't cover rugby grounds.
@@jinkylarsson2869 Not sure that SNP should get the credit there. They only came into power halfway through that year. Most of the work would already have been done by Labour and Libdems. I would think that after amendments, all parties would have voted in favour.

Just off to watch Euro 24 at a Scottish cricket ground where Don Bradman played his last match in Scotland.
PS England's biggest ever football defeat at home was by Scotland at the Oval cricket ground in London where Bradman played his last Test and made a duck

The last Euros, we were in the same spot. Lost our first match, drew the 2nd and had to win our 3rd match to get 4 points to qualify. However, Croatia turned us over and home we went.

Didn't look too busy for the Swiss game, but we sold out the whole stand (3000 people) for the Germany game. Not surprised it wasn't as busy here given the first game. I think it'll be busy again on Sunday though, hope so, planning to go myself!

Gutted I couldn't make more content around the Hungary game but I had some life stuff to sort out. No rest in football sometimes so gotta miss the odd game here or there. Loads to come for the start of the season/end of Euros. Thanks for the support mate!
