i heard you on bob edwards, too. what made me almost cry was the thought of those 39 people who appointed themselves the 'virtual human shield' for you and who stayed up at all hours to deflect the camera so you would not get shot. thinking about those people gave me hope.
My mother did a masters degree in psychology so im hoping to give her this book some day as a present. She can definitely learn a lot from the experiences you went through.
I understand interactive arts and arts used to incite awareness, involvement, and change. I also understand how paintball is an extreme sport and a game...a game with boundaries. These results were a bit predictable. There are plenty of completely unhinged psychological studies like this that traumatized subjects. And how many saw this as another online game? I don't understand setting yourself up for additional trauma unless...unless this could be a form of self-harm
That project gave you hope in humanity? I remember going to the website, seeing you get shot, and seeing a ton of racist crap in the chatbox. If anything, that made me look down on humanity. Good project though, I hope someone does another one.
@rangerrunner11 "because we can" ho ho, just because you got the power don't mean you got the right. Anyone can kill/rape/torture another person, that's doesn't mean they should do it. I could attack that grandma to stole her money, I could steal that car when the guy left it with the keys for a few seconds, but I won't do that, because I respect people and the law, because I have something called "morality" ps : learn a second language then come back barking the same stuff haha :D

This is a very important project, and an excellent book

Great art project though. Brilliant.
yes interesting thanks for sending this Celticstrat. I know people who spend most of their waking hours playin paintball.
there are simply people making profit on things. some made out of peace. and some made out of war
And some profiting over existential edification... those jerks...
+Quan Le Minh And some manufacturing paint balls
@Razor6731 That was unnecessary.
