@@rubberchicken5670 Well that fucking sucks, I love it. I wonder why it wasn't officially released. Guess I'll have to just keep track of the lyrics myself lol.
@KillingLoneliness88 His record label MCA was disappointed in the album sales for Manners & Physique, they refused to release Persuasion and dropped him. He started a new band, went on a Persuasion tour to attract a new record label for the album. They signed with Capito /EMI, but MCA refused to give up the Persuasion master tapes.
@@killinglonliness88 Why wasn't Persuasion released? "You'll have to ask MCA about that - they refused to admit that they even own it and then they refused to license it at any price! First of all, I did not sign the deal with MCA, so I am not too familiar with all the legal wranglings, but for some bizarre reason, basically they didn't like it at the time. The company itself was going through financial difficulties and changes. But the reasons why is best known to themselves. It sat on the shelf; we couldn't get it back. We tried to use some of the tracks from Persuasion, to put on the Antbox; they simply did not want to license them." - Marco Pirroni,2001
This is actually very good!!!!
OMG i can see why MCA refused to release this album !!
Man that’s awful. If I were him I’d have let MCA destroy all the tapes.
Lmao coming from someone who listens to Terence Trent Darby and thinks that's good music?
Okay seriously there are lyrics in this that are NOT in any of the lyrics I've looked up online and it's driving me nuts! lol. Any idea why?
It's bootleg. This album was never officially released.
