Programmable Search Engine (CSE)

This video is a demonstration on how to create a custom search engine using Google Programmable Search Engine.
The first step is to navigate to Programmable Search Engine and sign in with your Google account. Then click on "Add" to create a new custom search engine. You will need to give your search engine a name and specify the sites you want it to search. You can also choose to turn on image search or safe search.
Once you have added your sites, you can customize the look and feel of your search engine by editing the title, description, and public URL. You can also add refinements, which are tabs that allow you to search specific sites within your custom search engine.
To add a refinement, click on "All search features" and then click on "Add refinement". You can then name the refinement and associate it with one or more of the sites that you added to your custom search engine.
Once you have created your refinements, you can copy the public URL of your custom search engine and share it with others. People who use your search engine will be able to search the sites that you have added and use the refinements that you have created.
In the video, the creator creates a custom search engine that searches for software developers on Zoom Info, Instagram, Zing, Meetups, and LinkedIn.
