  • in this video im showing how i wired my FX9501 soldering iron i bought sometime ago and came as a kit.
    caution!!
    the connector wiring shown in this video might be not compatible with your soldering station so please dont think that this wiring is universal. check your station pinout first or you may damage something.

    could work in a 2 in 1 station?

      it depends of the pinout of the station you have.you must check that first.

      To convert t12 cable to JBC 245, you must connect the thinner end (end) of the direct heating element to the input of the op-amp, connect the center of the heating element to the mosfet drain (Ch P) and connect the more thickness of the heating element for the GND. You will need to separate the mosfet drain from the op amp input. This is a parallel link.
      For series connection (it works, but I don't know if it's correct) you connect the mosfet drain to the thinnest part of the heating element, connect the middle part of the element to the GND. Remembering that, in series, there will be a voltage node (voltage divider between the thermocouple and the resistance), if you touch the soldering tip to the GND of the circuit; there will be a short. You see?.

    You are not showing the pinout for the other connector?

      Him Umut, I don't want to bother the author of this project, so ended giving up last year to complete the project.
      I just made a list of all the URL where to get the necessary to build it, and a couple of many question to the author to make sure I'd be able to build, the cost ascending like $60 or so.
      If you had any good luck may we get in touch to share how to get it build?
      I order the Arduino programmer also.

      @@electronics4all So can you show the wiring for the connector end ?

    • @electronics4all
      @electronics4all  3 года назад

      @@radeohedca the wiring of the end connector depends on what soldering station you're going to use. they dont have all the same pinout.if you want i can take a picture or video of mine but it is custom wired since the soldering station and the wiring of its connector is made by me.

      @@electronics4all What controller are you using ? I have a KSGER v2.01 controller with the 5 pin connector.
