I watched this when it premiered and I was yelling too. They did this live, one shot on Fallon at Grand Centeal station. Jimmy got it closed down for them. The behind the scenes for this and that performance is great. It was filmed at Sepulveda dam in LA and they used UCLA marching and Jazz band on the recording. Ty guys!

You absolutely need to listen to more of the rap-line both as a group and as soloists you're missing out on quality content. I highly recommend the Cyphers pt. 1-4 for starters. They're all incredible rappers. In my opinion there isn't a best rapper because they each have very different styles and concepts. As a huge Eminem fan I like Suga's style the most because he reminds me so much of a younger Em in terms of raw authentic lyricism, flows, delivery, and life-story, but all 3 of them have that it factor it really depends on the song because they're super versatile.

i remember when this song came out i was was watching it as my second bts mv ever and i was so impressed my mouth was open all the way through it was insame. so i went down the rabbitwhole after this.
Jimin’s body rolls and high notes at the end 🔥🔥🔥 suga is my bias wrecker, his mvs are intense and his rap style is unique. RM is a great lyricist, JHOPE is creative and has a raspy unique rap.

It's pointless to argue who is best rapper in BTS since it basically comes down to preference. If you like it raw yeah Suga is your guy, if you like swag it's Jhope and if like wordplay RM is the best poet. If you want to pick base on their rhythm and flow, well goodluck to you.
A quick note go check out RM's "Joke" if you don't get why some thinks he is the best rapper. It also shows why he was known as "Rap Monster" back in BTS's earlier days, till he decided he doesn't like being a monster nowadays (kind like Rurouni Kenshin if you want a anime reference)

Rm is my favorite rapper in BTS, but that is just my taste and preference. I can't say who is better than whom. The characteristics of the three are so different. And although RM is my favorite, SUGA's D-2 album and j-hope's Jack in the Box album, along with RM's Indigo album, are the best albums for me : )

Absolutely, no one performs like BTS
BTS has diffrent generes and styles that they do and sometimes the rappers take a front row in their songs other times the vocalists take the front seat. but this was the perfect mix between the two. for their english songs the vocalist take the lead and for bts older titeltracks they have more rap heavy songs like fire and not today. it´s not like we get to hear high notes from the members on those. i think Idol had a good mix too like this one it had a jimin and jimin breakdown. but this had so many flows on it.
it always amazes me how BTS can make a rap verse on any song. they did it for butterfly witch they doubted could ever be done but they did and it was amazing. so they kept doing ballads with raps on it too something i have never heard before it was so new and fresh.
Here's the proof that Suga is the king of RAP - his trilogy songs prove he can do it all. Suga, under his alter ego Agust D, has a must see trilogy, in order, Daechwita, Haegeum, and Amygdala!!!! Daechwita, music played upon the arrival of the king, and he uses this composition in a more urban contemporary way throughout the entire song; Haegeum, has 2 meanings - the first a Korean musical instrument and the second, which goes to the theme of this video, is the lifting of a ban of something forbidden, and once again, Suga uses the daechwita music composition; and Amygdala, the almond shaped part of the brain that holds trauma and controls fear and actions, a deeply personal TRUE account of his pain and also explains the scar on his characters in Daechwita and Haegeum!
Also, from his Agust D D-Day album the songs D-Day has no MV, just a lyrics video, and a fantastic fan base video by elisssa of Snooze featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto and WooSung. Sakamoto was an Oscar award winning composer and pianist who was a mentor to Suga and composed the piano composition throughout Snooze. Sadly he passed away a few months before the release of D-Day, but can be seen in the elisssa MV of the song! WooSung is one of the lead singers of the Korean rock band - The Rose!!

I understand what you mean about Suga. He's my bias from the rap line. V is my bias from the vocal line. IMO, RM'S rap flow is poetic. Jhope's rap flow is more fun. Suga! His rap flow is raw with Swag and intense presence. That's the best way that I could explain it. I'm sure others feel differently. This is just how I see Suga. I love him!
