Good job I love your videos especially the bowman 265 I got a bowman 300 in LNER black and it runs great I also have a ton of other mamod steam engines and wilesco engines I have 14 engines in total
Great vid of a great little loco. Other members of my family now approve so I'm leaning towards ordering one. My thoughts are moving on to how, as you mentioned previously, a chuffer could be fitted and maybe routing it back through the funnel? My points sometimes cause bumps and derailments, but not all the time so I'm still investigating. Cheers.
Approval is good! If I added a chuffer I’d somehow rig a pipe to put it in. The chimney is a possibility maybe but there would be little of it to work with I think. I have found that my little pipe, probably because it is narrow, makes a little extra satisfying sound. What I should do it screw my Accucraft’s chuff pipe in the exhaust. I won’t bend it or anything and it will stick out straight, but I could see what it does I have some pipe I could put around it too.
That's really a neat Steam Engine and it has great pulling power too. Enjoyed your video.
Thanks! At least now I have one geared engine.
So smooth 👌
I didn’t know what to expect. I’m pleased.

I love my Wilesco. My Bowman is the classic old girl of my collection - even though my Bassett-Lowke is a bit older.
I’m happy you like my videos.
Have you thought of posting any vids of your engines?
Nice engine Terry. Miss that layout?
Not really. I never finished it as we started to discuss eventually moving. What I am building now is better.

Remind me what track you use
How does it run pre fill up? It's does run quite smooth even with all cars it's pulling.
Hi Trevor. What do you mean by pre fill up? I’d love to answer your question.
@@Terrys-Steam-and-Bricks gas and water.
@@trevork4066 it doesn’t run without gas and water (and steam lubricating oil).
Yeah I know that I was just wondering how long it runs pre boiler fill of water. My Ruby runs about 10 mins max and I have to refill the boiler.
@@trevork4066 ahhhhhhhh. Sorry Trevor. Yes. I actually haven’t timed it. A good 20 mins for sure.
