    Error E-8 shows after replacing one (1) Printhead (Color or Black) - Fixed!
    Hello everyone, I will take this opportunity to share with you the solution and fix after having 4 hours of figuring out how to fix this problem (wew!). In my case, after replacing either printheads, "P" or "A" won't show up, and E-8 error keeps on showing. So what I did is to restart the printer by turning it off and on again, then wait for a second an "A" will show in the display and prints the alignment page, then you can proceed to the alignment and priming process! Good luck! Like this so you can help others too. Thank you!

    I was replacing a new set of print head (Tri-color/Black) when our Printer was no longer printing. “ Ink Cartridge Failure” appears when I print as well as the “”Print head Alert Light” on the printer panel. Frustrating, the problem still does not go away after the procedure of replacing the print heads. What is the root cause of this problem? And why is the ink soaked under the Printer’s Head floor? The Model of our Printer is HP DeskJet GT 5820... Please give me a good explanation and ways on how i should do that i can solve the problem... Thank you and more power. God bless you!

    Reprime the Printer.
    Press and Hold Power button, Then Press Black Color Copy Button 9 times and 1 Time Color Copy Button. It will reprime the printer. Do not use syringe steps as it will void your warranty

    please reply, if we replace the printhead in ink tank unlocked position so the remaining ink in the pipe will come back to tank and it may be damage the ink system
    hence,firstly we lock the ink tank then after replacing it unlock the knob ...............

      +smfv 7993 Priming cannot begin until new tri-color and black printheads are installed at the same time into the printer. An E-8 error occurs if only one new printhead is installed in the printer.

    I haven't use my HP Deskjet GT 5810 printer for quite some time now. When I tried to print now it prints sucks. I tried all the diagnostic tests but it prints all blue (light blue). I used HP support & it sais that printheads must be replaced. Please advise how do I proceed with this. I haven't even refilled the ink since I bought it. HP PLEASE CHECK ON THIS ISSUE. Thank yoy

      +ranu patel Each printhead contains a small amount of priming ink that is used during the priming process. If the carriage latch is opened after priming, both printheads must be replaced. An E-8 error occurs if only one new printhead is installed in the printer. You can purchase new printheads from an HP Authorized Repair Center or Service Partner.

      Click Service center locations in the Support section near the bottom of the page.
      Follow the instructions on the page to find the nearest repair center or service partner.

    This is the worst printer ever. There´s a printhead error, and The support site says both printheads need to be replaced simultaneously. Once you have an issue, you can turn it into a nice flowerpot

      +Mayur Khan Please perform hard reset on your printer to fix this issue: 1. Turn the printer on. 2. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the unit. 3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. 4. Wait at least 15 seconds. 5. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. 6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the unit. 7. If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on. If the issue still persist. update the firmware as mentioned in steps in this document: bitly.com/2MLB28L

      Reprime the Printer.
      Press and Hold Power button, Then Press Black Color Copy Button 9 times and 1 Time Color Copy Button. It will reprime the printer. Do not use syringe steps as it will void your warranty

    worst printer ever... we print only 162 print and giving ink spot on the paper and sometimes not print some words. ... we called the service center and ask for charge and they charged 2500 rupees only for service. Wow, amazing . for the car I am giving service charge only 1500 rupees. Worst service and printer.

    Nice product but unfortunately, your authorized seller in the Philippines is not allowing to buy just the printhead. They will only sell you the printhead if their own service center will do the replacement and charge you more than the value of the printhead. A very greedy for money authorized seller and service center in the Philippines. I complained it before but HP did not do any action. Is HP also getting big commission from replacement service that is why you are tolerating this form of malpractice of your authorized seller in the Philippines?
    Now, I cannot use my printer anymore due to I had let it fixed by your authorized seller and service center at the same time and after three months, I am getting error. It will only be fixed by your authorized service center for a big fee again. It is getting more expensive. Can you please do something???? Buyers should be allowed to buy the printheads only and should not be forced to have it replaced by your authorized reseller/service center for a service fee much more expensive than the printheads.
