    Actually I thought in Chicago it's much cooler than here but your tomatoes are far ahead of ours 🌱👍 Your garden is full of goodies 🤗

      Well I started them early and these tomato varieties are little more cold hardy than others, one is called Siberian, the other is Sub arctic plenty. So they can tolerate colder temperatures.

    looks amazing! Still cold here - 30 degrees this morning! Light frost. Everything in greenhouse doing fine but they are anxious to get outside! I love how you combine plants in pots - great use of space. You are such an inspiration.

      @@KitchenGardenTherapy me too! Nice in 60s during day but too cold at night. Last year our May was hot and dry and this year cold and wet - gardener's must be flexable!

    Quince, such a gem! Not many know about it. My mom used to make the best quince jelly. The fruit one ripe smells heavenly! We had a tree in our yard. I was a child.

    would love for you to do more videos on teas and uses for medicinal plants. What was that cactus growing in one of your raised beds?

    • @KitchenGardenTherapy
      @KitchenGardenTherapy  Год назад

      Yes, I will definitely make more medicinal herbs videos this summer. That cactus is a prickly pear, it’s edible and hardy to at least my zone, which is 5

      @@KitchenGardenTherapy I wondered. I have a small one a friend gave me and it does survive our zone 4 winters but not sure what it is used for?
